I don't understand Your point. Did you take note of the punctuation marks Or Is it "akin" that's the problem?
You can't understand, akin, is part of the problem but the entire construction was wrong, what did you mean by precised? Muslim not Muslims. A MAN cannot be MUSLIMS rather MUSLIM
The word;akin,Had no place in that sentence and it's rather contrived usage was unnecessary and incongruous. In short your grammar is bad

They have been doing that for a long time bro, even in the South West. A place dominated by South south minority group would be made to be recognized as Igbo communities.

I have said this many times and I will say it again. The number of South southerners (combined) in the South west (including Lagos) is more than Igbo population by a distance.

You do have a point, though. The Hausa (or should I say Northern) population in the South-west is also huge, but because they are less boisterous and gregarious than other ethnic groups, people often overlook their numbers.

You took the word out of my mouth.

Ovia doesn't fit into ibo at all.

Ovia could mean forsest. In my Ebonyi dialect, Ivo in particular, we use Ovia for forest, while other Igbos may use Ofia or Ohia to mean forest.
So in this context, Ovia could mean forest. However, Ika-Igbo people on this forum can give you more accurate translation, if I'm wrong.

i think its time for we the youths to take the bull by the horn, and begin preparing ourselves for leadership positions.all those there currently will still die,at most in 30years time(death, the great humbler),and history shows they cannot always have their way(they are not gods).d problem is those who would take over, would they be 'shocked' like jonathan or be prepared like martin luther king jr.nigeria will be great

Every Igbo group do have names that are unique to them.... e.g. the Ikwerres are fond of Amadi..... I'm not verse on the Ika-Igbo names, but I think there is a thread on that here. Dig it out for yourself. Besides, I have never seen any Igbo group bearing names as egboke, Anyim, Obassy, Izuka, Dinne, etc. These are names that are peculiar to Ebonyians,as other Igbo groups do have names that are unique to them.
So, there is nothing like trying to manipulate the name to suite my purpose. I just gave you a literal translation, which I'm sure is correct, except otherwise, but any Ika-Igbo fela can correct me, if I'm wrong. Thanks.

So, how come in the whole of alaigbo we only have one OVIA ?
Need I also remind you that there are few yoruba names that have meanings in ibo dialect and vice versa?

In what way is GTB Bank owned by a Bini man, please? Would you be kind enough to share the facts and figures of the shareholding structure of that bank? And Standard Chartered Bank is NOT a South African bank. It is a British bank with its headquarters in London, England. It is an international bank, with over 1,100 branches, offices and outlets in 67 countries across the globe.

Standard Chartered Bank was formed in 1969 through the merger of two separate banks, the Standard Bank of British South Africa and the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China. These banks had capitalised on the expansion of trade between Europe, Asia and Africa.https://www.sc.com/en/about-us/our-history.html

Be realistic. Two Yoruba men set up GTB. Below is the fact.

Tajudeen Afolabi Adeola, In 1990, he (together with Tayo Aderinokun) established Guaranty Trust Bank, which he managed as managing director/CEO from its inception in 1990 to July 2002. The bank has since expanded beyond Nigeria to other neighbouring African countries ( The Gambia ,
Sierra Leone , Ghana and Liberia ) and in United Kingdom. The bank became listed on the
Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1996.
In 2002, Adeola voluntarily retired from Guaranty Trust Bank, after twelve years, handing over to his deputy, Tayo Aderinokun. Since then he has served as the chairman UTC ,
ARM , Lotus Capital , Eterna Oil, CardinalStone Partners Limited , Tafsan Breweries (board member), and Credit Registry Services .

Don't get worked up already.

But if you ain't ready to calm down and act mature then...let go of my mention.

Until you can prove to us why OVIA only exist without SE and not among ibo people your argument remain baseless.

Certainly not. Using the "fuvck" word does not indicate emotional heat-up. I'm use to it man. But get the information, every Igbo group do have names that are unique to them. Your assertion that only one man bears Ovia in the whole of ali-'Igbo is ridiculous. If you can back it up with fact, then you're talking. Dude, names are synonymous and connected to every source, tribe and/or origin of every man. And just like you mentioned earlier some ibo names are unique ... and I quote :

So,what group are we talking about here, within and without ibo people, bearing or where name such as OVIA ' is know with?

.... and my post from the onset stated that Ovia literally translates to forest, in my dialect, which could mean the same thing in Ika-Igbo, though not sure until them, felas here confirm it. Don't also forget that names, in Igboland, can stem from the circumstances surrounding ones birth.....
I'm not an authority on this matter, but Ovia/Ofia/Ohia means forest in Igbo language, depending on the dialect.

I have heard of OVIA but predominantly among..without ibo people.

No man, human bears forest," OVIA " be it within, without nor among ibo people.

Except you can prove otherwise,or better still provide the so called " group " that such name exist therein.

Exactly my point, and I quote you :

•First and foremost, in all alaigbo you could identify nor find any man or woman bearing ' OVIA '. My first point.

• Now,if' OVIA' doesn't exist within SE and could only be found without her, being delta state, nigeria plus the fact that in his biography it states " Jim OVIA ' hail from delta state. Now couple with the fact that, so far there is no group among the so called ibo without and within SE bearing that name(you couldn't even identified one) as you claimed..? Then what are talking about here¿
