Okay you don't want to know what exactly this money is now used for or which social programme it will be used for to benefit the masses? Talking about the looters won't make any difference. EFCC has still not successfully prosecuted any high profile case so what do you want to talk about? Even if they announce the social programmes and publish a budget for the money to be spent on the masses it will still end up being mismanaged or stolen outright. Nigerian politicians believe that the people have tacitly given them the go ahead to loot public funds because we don't complain. We don't even want to talk about the looters. Amaechi said it best when he said, we steal because you people don't stone us. By the way his name has been mentioned as the possible owner of the recovered money. The judiciary is just as corrupt as the rest of the Nigerian government if not more corrupt sef. That is why EFCC can never successfully prosecute any high profile case. A few millions is enough to buy injustice for the thief at the Nigerian supermarket of justice. It's time for all of us to change our thinking and attack the problem with one voice otherwise I fear for the future of this country. |
