I can fathom why you are all pained concerning the thread counselling ladies not to date broke men because the wealthy dudes wouldn't grumble but the church rats would go as well as call girls gold diggers!
Safiaa said nothing misleading, she didn't say what you ears itched to hear that is why you tongue lashed her.
Here is my view on the issue
I am of a Jewish descent, grew up in Tel Aviv with dad whilst mom(a nigerian) lived here in naija.
I came to meet mum at the age of 15, when she was 34 years old. We were slightly below the status quo class, struggling to live a comfortable life(not poverty sha).
My bf,who was from a wealthy family assisted me with allowances. At the end of every month, he gave me pocket money and bought things like cream , pad etc...he bought my first phone for me so we could communicate.I lacked nothing with him, he pampered me with gifts and gave me the type of life my dad gave me. It was through his dad connection i got admission into the university.
I bleeped up and we broke up, leaving me with his son.

Does that make me a leech? Or was i greedy? Or a gold digger? Was he a mugu?
He did those things because he loved me, a man loves by giving. If a guy provides BASIC needs that you cant afford(hair money, subcription money, cream soap), is it wrong? Or if he buys flowers and chocolates for you to show how much he cares ,is it bad?

Africa has made it one sided . Embrace it as a culture that it is the man the provides more financially! Africa has also made it that a girl that satisfies her guy sexually ,you have accepted this so why not accept the financial responsibility on you?
When it deals with a lady withholding sex from you guys, you will pained. So why shouldnt we be pained when guys withold money from us?
If you say we should be self sufficient financially, you guys should be self sufficient sexually-mastubate or watch porn to gratify yourself.

Why is it that when a girl says cant settle for a guy that aint wealthy, she will be called a leech but when a guy says he wants a girl that has boobs, nyash, fair, dark etc nobody calls him names?
Is that fairness? That guys can give criteria for their choice and when a woman gives criteria for her choice she would be tagged as "picky"? Ponder on this!

Now male Nls would quote me, but i dont give a scarce Bleep. They can warm up their forks and sticks but it wouldnt change the poor from being poor...

I didn't say girls should give their bodies out for guys who give them money, I just analysed the mindsets of some....

I am not an ashawo because.1) have only had sex once on my life.2) didnt use protection as ashawos do(it was him that insisted we must go raw ).3) that yielded my handsome son who would clock 11 this year-ashawos abort babies

I don't believe u...u can't be wealthy and exhibit such a poor mentality such as u exposed above. You having sex without protection is nothing new... prostitutes do have unprotected sex if d customer makes d choice, and women do abort pregnancies as long as they're sexually active but not ready, so abortion is not a vice performed by prostitutes alone. As for ur sex life, thats totally ur business.

Note that guys as well, satisfy girls sexually not just the other way round. So financially, the guys and the babes should be on the same page. For the mere fact that as Africans, we imbibe some of the western cultures, the issue of financial independence on the part of ladies should not be an exception.

If you were wise you would comprehend that i spoke of my ex aiding me financially eleven years ago! I only speak for those girls who are currently financially unstable with wealthy guys, what makes me have a poor mentality? Is it saying that If as a guy you have money you can help your gf? How is that wealth mentality? Wealth is kindness. If I were a boy It will be my pleasure to give those that don't have, my gf inclusive.
Believe it or not, I am somewhat wealthy.Thank heavens for that.
My sex life is my business so why comment on it?
I made an error in the characteristics of an ashawo , but I am gladly none....thank you

A real man knows how to treat a lady he loves and adores wether his wife, gf, side chic or prostitutes. It only gets nauseating when u want to impose or forcefully demand he provide financial benefits or otherwise. Your bf did all those things for u cuz he loved u and not just cuz u gave him sex in return. Women should learn to stop having the mentality that a man must provide their needs in this 21st century. Thats the point.

I never asked for them. He used his six sense to know I needed this. He came over and saw my hair untidy and said "babe, lemme take you to salon". Without gals asking, would guys use their common sense to know they ought to assist?...very few! My whole point is that it is not a crime for guys to help their gf or treat het nice, it doesnt make him a mugu as most guys think.

PS: I never said I was giving him sex o

I suspect you mean he ran because of pregnancy. Off course not. I recall him begging on his knees that i keep his baby and not abort it. I recall him rven threatening to have me imprisoned if his kid is aborted.
