sarrki: I don't understand this APC government at all. Pastor Osinbanjo just err again in nation building. In as much as he feels Magi can continue in acting capacity, can't he see the larger picture of setting a bad judicial precedence of tolerating a process that could be abused deeply and wrongly cos the power balance of a democratic government is about to go useless here. Can't Magu be replaced? Is he a God to their cause? That being the case, it shows so many hidden agendas of this government for them to be emphatic on one guy. If Obj could do without Ribadu and work with someone else, then Magu can be swapped. He is not the most honest and diligent man we have in this country. By his comment, he just implied that The Executive can keep appointing at Acting Capacity any government official they so please without confirmation from the senate. That's is bad precedence for our struggling economy because that will lead to breakdown of law and order by the way the three arms of government. APC, what you doing to this country isn't fair... and Osinbanjo, as a Pastor, you should know better. SMH for you . 2 Likes |

It is unfortunate that some Nairalanders and most Nigerians don't understand that the national assembly both d senate and house of reps are dens of robbers, plunderers, rogues, thieves and dishonourable goats that has been eating our yams through the constituency projects and their continued failure to make very tough laws on corruption unlike the Chinese model where death penalty is the price for corruption and we can see how China has developed from a poor nation in the 50's to a technologically advanced nation while this doomed nation is retrogressing. The NASS and the governors as well as dishonourable members of the states houses of assembly are bleeding this doomed nation. Some of d NASS members were former governors while some have governorship aspirations. Is goats like Saraki, TA Orji and all others that wud not want Magu in power. Why ve the national assembly which makes d law so tha 2 yrs is the punishment for corrupt officer holders but harsher sentences for phone thieves and kidnappers etc but u blame d judge who was only interpreting the law made by rogues when he says someone who stole phone should be hanged on get longer jail sentences. Can we have an audit of how much money and what they get for constituency allowance is spent? If they really execute these projects I guess NYSC corp members wud not see any CDS projects to execute. It should be noted that EFCC is doing a good job unlike the ICPC which i feel should be scrapped or swallowd by the EFCC as a deptartment in it. When EFCC arrest, investigate and prosecute its job ends but wud be followed by the judiciary who are corrupt and that is y there has been no convictions coupled with the useless laws that is not made to fight but pamper thieves in power. By the way where is that useless common sense senator BEN BRUCE? How has he applied common sense with the use of constituency allowance to the people he claim to represent? I am disappointed in Shehu Sani who before becoming a senator claimed to be a human rights advocate. He has shown his true colour who could only donate camels and radio to his constituents with the huge money he gets for constituency allowance that should be scrapped off 9 Likes |

My fellow Nigerians I take God beg you let not be distracted by executive and legislative(looters/politicians) from asking for the $13 billion looted by this government officials/ministers exposed by whistle blowers, which executive and EFCC are trying hard to cover up their names and tracks. EFCC we need the heads of $13 billion looters(APC). 1 Like

The presidency can keep Magu in acting capacity as long as he deem fit. The senators may not endorse him but he can act as long as the presidency wants. The implication of this is just that Magu will not be entitled to some benefits as the EFCC chairman and also he can not be referred to as Former EFCC chairman after he leave office. |

checkolatunji:I don't know what you are talking about, my friend. Osinbajo is known for 2 things: a professor of law and a pastor. His utterances and behaviour before becoming the vice president and now are mutually exclusive. He has aligned with a tenuous interpretation of the 1999 Constitution just because it suits his Oga at the top. But, wait till you meet him in a law class and you will know that he has been economical with the truth. That's the point I made. Read it and understand d it if you know how, instead of running your mouth upanda. 1 Like |
