Every person is their own boss. If someone chooses to live life on their terms, throwing caution to the wind, I don't see how it's any of yours or mines business. Are they blowing smoke down YOUR throat? If not, stuff it & mind your own damn business. Because nobody is bitching about the choices that you make in your life. I'm sure not everything you do is "healthy" by some standards, so where do you get off thinking you have authority or a right to talk shit about somebody else's life choices? You don't like smoking, great, just stay off you won't be missed.

I am marvelled at this your instance. The issue is whether smoking is good for our health or not (as I rightly stated in my earlier comment). This your example is a case of accident which is way different from the issue we are talking about. Death is inevitable but taking something that may likely take one close to his/her grave is what am talking about. There are many things that when done, could cause harm for us and smoking is sure one of them.

I used to abhor them till I met a friend in school that smokes, now I hate them no more.

when I see any person that has never left the shores of Africa smoking in this tropical temperature of ours I feel like slapping the person. Only a wannabe smokes in Africa.

I may exempt those that have lived in temperate regions for long because smoking is addictive, but those that stays in Africa that smokes cigar, That's bullshit.

weed smokers do it to get high but that doesn't remove the fact that smoke is an irritant to the lungs.

I do actually abhor smokers too, the smell of it is repulsive, if the person gets too close to you or breathes on you (I don't know if that's the right way to put it)

There used to be this guy in my neighborhood, I reckon he was 7 or 8 years older (I'm not sure)
Whenever I went to the shop he would follow me and try to talk but I never really entertained him, until the other day I was standing beside the shop waiting for my cousin , I didn't even see him, he came behind me and rubbed his cheek against my cheek and said hey cutie! I was offended, he stank, not in a bad way but because of smoking and I said eww! I Don't like the smell of that thing you're smoking and he walked away. I felt bad though! He looked embarrassed, maybe I should've said it politely
