Point me to the period where Lewandowski was left on the bench and on the training ground for a long time before he became the beast he is today..... Point me to the period he was left out of match days squads.... after he left Poland.... And talking about 1961.... I have to go there because same pep is always saying Nacho is just a box player and can finish bla bla bla..... As if Pep didn't see Nacho's brilliance in that game where he actually controlled the game and brought others into play. As if Pep didn't see Nacho in Nigeria's colors doing this thing. Same pep opens his ignorant mouth to say nonsense. TheGoodJoe: |

BascoVanVeli: Iwobi did well in the hype that he is playing regularly for Arsenal. It is undeniable that the young man lost his uniqueness in the Euphoria. I expect Iwobi to come back better and improved. I hope he keeps the lesson learned from Gatting after this period. There is a lot of work to stay at the top of the game. There is a reason why Scholes, Pirlo, Xabi Alonso, Giggs and Buffon lasted so long at the top. It is not about playing time but respecting the effect of practice and discipline. Advice to Wenger, pronlmote Gatting to your technical crew. |

TheSuperNerd: These things come naturally to some. Players like Romario, Bebeto, Ronaldo De Lima etc. Lewandowski is a natural, just like Firmino, Mbappe and Gabriel Jesus. If Nacho moves better than these players, I doubt he will see less game time. When Nacho improves on it, he will see more opportunities. Guardiola showed this season that he can improve players. We saw it in Delph, Sane and Caballero. We will see it in Nacho. Time. |

TheSuperNerd: We can not change the truth. Nacho is not fluid enough. The young man is working hard on it and his Hardwork will payoff soon. |

Time..... I have already explained how much time he has. Time is very very precious in the game of football. But it is okay... let me see what Pep has for him in the summer. As for Nacho training.... that lad is a beast in training. even Pep cannot deny it. He has said so..... let us only hope Nacho's training doesn't take longer than normal again.... because Time waits for no one.... especially in the short life span of the beautiful game.... Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:59am On Apr 17, 2017 |
But he is fluid at all.... isn't he? He is fluid.... only that "enough" is missing.... But pep won't admit to it.... he only comments that Nacho can finish and that is all But Pellegrini said otherwise... He said... "Nacho is a striker but is much more than a striker... he offers more outside and around the box also... Yes, he is a finisher but also more than that... there is whole lot to his game many haven't come to see yet" And you think Pep knows more than Pellergrini abi?? Pelle sees what pep is outrightly denying.... very classic. TheGoodJoe: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:02am On Apr 17, 2017 |
TheSuperNerd: Remember, Pellegrini plays a direct brand if attacking football. His style is more suited to Nacho's pressing attacking play. Guardiola's system requires more, that is why he is more demanding. He wants more from Iheanacho than a prolific striker. Nacho will get it soon. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:07am On Apr 17, 2017 |
I am more particular about what the two coaches saw and said of Nacho's abilities. Pep's view of him is kinda limited I must confess. And yes, Nacho will get it right. I trust he will.... But remember, he is already a sought-after super talent.... TheGoodJoe: |

TheGoodJoe: Scape goat is more like it. No arsenal player has put a foot right in a month right or wrong? People all of a sudden say he was not disciplined enough outside the pitch but that is hearsay. We don't know him and we cannot judge him just on imagination. Every young player hits a wall once in a while, no big deal but where are Ozil and Sanchez? |

You guys still de argue wit Sir TheGoodJoe on top kelechi matter? Me I don sabi TheGoodJoe teytey E no go gree make nacho leave city. He prefers him to keep learning and training without playing under pep till boy starts to grow grey hair from frustration. Football is an amazing sport but it has a very short memory. Watching Rashford play against Chelsea last evening made me to wonder if it wasn't the same lad competing wit Nacho for Headline. I come de shake my head for Nacho, his agent and his selfish pa. They all saw the hand clearly written on d wall and they couldn't take proactive measure. I hope he bounces back soon cos even presently I'm not happy with the names of clubs making offer for him and stuff like these can psychologically affect his development into a super player we want him to become. Since Nacho offers more I think he deserves more. So I say he gets outta city and re-launch his career. 1 Like |

AIG07: I have said that I will support Nacho if he chooses to leave. I wonder why you guys are still hammering on me wanting Nacho to stay. There is also show and reality. Rashford might perform amazingly against Chelsea but at City, he will not start ahead of Sane. That is why I said the point is development. Nacho can go somewhere, bang in goals for fun and earn rave reviews. It will not change the fact that there are part of his game that needs polishing. I say he stays a season more and polish the other parts of his game. After that, seek game time either at City or another club. |

BascoVanVeli: What do you know about the Hoffenheim coach that assures you that he will handle Nacho well? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:05am On Apr 17, 2017 |
jotey: There is what is called natural gift. Nacho's finishing is natural. It takes time to teach a kid to finish like that. Mbappe's work rate is natural and it will take time to teach a kid to do what he does naturally. Nacho has the natural finishing but learning the fluid movement will need Hardwork and time. |

TheGoodJoe:you said dybala is 23 and that's the reason he has more game time than nacho now I am asking how old is mbappe? the mbappe that destroyed man shitty? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:08am On Apr 17, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli: Iwobi stayed awake late night chatting on a social media website despite having a game the next day. Xhaka had who was not to play in the coming game had to go online to tell Iwobi to go to bed. That is not hearsay that was a fact. Imagine Iwobi's attitude when there I no game time. The young man needs to learn and I feel Wenger is not strict enough on his younger players. Iwobi can not attempt that at City. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:12am On Apr 17, 2017 |
jotey: You did not understand the point. I said Dybala is 23, so we can talk of him having game time even if he is deficient in some areas. Iheanacho is 20 and I said he can use this period to polish some deficient areas. I will not have problem if a coach notices some weakness in Mbappe's game and want him to work on it. Even if that means him sitting on the bench. If Mbappe was above 22, I will say there is no need and let that be his way. Remember Benteke. I would have advised him to leave Liverpool because of his age. If he was younger, I will say study Firmino and improve your game. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:17am On Apr 17, 2017 |
jotey: Mbappe did not destroy Manchester City. He scored and had an okay game. Fabinho and Bagayoko also scored. |

Orkpekyandega: Chrisantus joined Hamburg not Wolfsburg. Osimhen signed officially in January during the winter and got injured soon after. He is just getting back from injury. He can't play with injury. He can not be said to have failed yet. He is just 18 in his first club. |

TheGoodJoe:uncle, all players can't be the same and all coaches don't want players playing same way. that firmino track back and involved in build up doesn't make him better than RVP who just hang around for the ball, infact firmino is just an average player to me Lukaku is even a better striker |

TheGoodJoe: sir goodjoe...nacho is different, he is unique in his class... he doesn't need to be moulded to suit pep philosophy... if the drilling coach thinks he lacks want he want in a striker...then let him be loaned or sold to those who want what he(nacho) has.... last season...which was his debut season... the young lad has 13 goals ...amidst his sub role and has the highest goal scored per minute ratio... please answer this question... has any of those pep has moulded and desires achieved such feet? pep is simply a perfectionist he want players to play as robot... he should keep dreaming... nacho is already a bunch of talent...an exceptional lad SS and CF rolled into one.... |

jotey: and learn how to track back to defend... that's the drilling coach desire of a striker.. even mourinho that play defensive football don't require so much of a striker...likewise conte |
