In so call modern education, Arabic Number is adopted and is in use till today.
No aspect of education you can't learn in Arabic language education up to phd! Doctor, engineering, and all form of techology can easily be learnt in Arabic education without even know Alphabets!
There are three world internation languages today and Arabic is among of them, English and French were the others.
Here in Nigeria it had become tradition to send children to arabic school...Almaji in his early stage of his life, and is a free accepted education for muslim round the state and you can find children who at the age of 8 cram the whole Al Quran perfectly!
But nstead of making use of these diversities of the nation for the devlopment, they were campaign to kill it, with english and french because of our neignbour brother ecowas and internation use, then Arabic education is nother great opportunity that Nigeria nation need not to lose, If we can manage Almajiri scholars Nigeria is open to another world market.
But it's bad to see his royal highest Emir of Kano leading the fight to kill Almajiri by all means, Emir sanusi with his colabo had tag Almajir to poverty and backwardness!
Sanusi should have been the first to build Arabic Univerity that will produce the intellectuals in all form as the English educational counterpart!
Almajiri must not kill!

There is nothing wrong in teaching or learning Arabic in schools. The Almajiri "begging system" is totally wrong and must be condemned.
