Good day Huz, is it mandatory for a permit applicant to present a notarized document as certified true copies for all photocopy documents to be submitted to CIC if either going through online or paper route. Thanks for your contributions. |

timisnup:The bank should tell you what kind of tax clearance you need to submit. Most banks accept receipt or proof of payment of PHCN bills (or whatever it is called now) as tax clearance. |

galileeteo:though 2008 is a long time but is ur intended course in line with ur previous course? Cos the only way u stand a chance is if both are in line , as for the gap I think u will really need to convince the vo why u left for that long and why are u suddenly interested in it again. as regards ur wife and children u don't really need their international passport (since u say they don't have for now ) but make sure u include ur marriage certificate and ur child's birth certificate. I can't say about u raising ur 2nd tuition fee while working part time in Canada cos I haven't been there before but to be candid it will be a bigger risk if that's ur plan. Pls gurus in the house should help out here |

Hello everyone, Is it possible to get Trv without medical call? someone told me they do and the program is usually six months. So am bit confused, no medical should be automatic refusal, but people are saying different things. Please I need your views please. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 6:45pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Metropolitan: You need a well explained SOP to savage this, then using a third party sponsor in ur case is a bit dicey to me cox, lots might be raised by the VO as to why a friend would want to commit such financial burden. I think you need to come up with the idea of working with a prospective establishment on ur return to naija, let ur sop focus on the need of this degree because of the demand from ur prospective employers. You just have to come up with what is beyond d common i'll com back to naija after study, u need to let the VO see why u need this course at d moment. I'll prefer u getting a family sponsor rather than just a friend. Just my opinion cox the way it would play out in your application. A family sponsor can still come up with tangible reasons as to y he/she is sponsoring u. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Metropolitan: 6:46pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
amnotapervert: Thanks for your response. Based on my research, no university offers the program at masters level, only PGC and PGD. Can this convince the VO, please? Thanks. |

Mattezo:At bold, it's true. If program of study is not more than 6months it may not require medicals. If ur program is more than 6months, definitely a medical exercise has to be taken. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Metropolitan: 7:07pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Eraytee: God bless you Eraytee! My research showed the program is offered at PGC and PGD level by canadian universities, didnt see anyone offering it masters level. Is it safe to bank on that while trying to defend the PGD i opted for despite my CGPA? @bolded, I got that right but do i need to mention any establishment in the SOP and how i know such course will be needed by the said establishment? |

Metropolitan:to me teaching is very broad so u can have it ur introduction letter from ur place of work that u teach a subject that's related to what u studied earlier. as for ur friend that wants to sponsor u, he will have to pay ur tuition and if possible send ur living expenses to ur account before u apply as that will clear any doubt the vo will have(if ur friend will actually pay for ur studies ). NB: ur friend will also have to State reason why he wants to spend millions on u 1 Like |

Hello House. Please i will like to know if it is compulsory to include a police clearance report to the visa application documents? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 7:48pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Metropolitan:I don't know much about your course so if it's only available at PGD I don't think there's any arm in that. You can mention establishment that you know. The job specifications as regards to your course would let u know that. If u are a business analyst for instance, u would av job specifications. It's just better to key ur reason for going for this course as a way of adding to the knowledge you have and to help u with your prospective job specifications when you return by emphasizing on how foreign trained employees are most favored in the eyes of the employer cox of the exposure and training gotten from studies of this kind. 2 Likes |

Eraytee: Thank you bro for your swift reply, but am hearing info that some applicants are being given TRV without medical call and their programs are more than 6months. Does this happen often or once in a blue moon and has this happened in this thread before.. Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by oluwaCanny: 8:12pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Mattezo: if it happens then it's an oversight by the VO in question if program is more than 6months or the applicant involved is from a country where medical is not required. I read on this thread where an aplicant claimed to have got his TRV without medicals but this is an exception rather than the norm. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by oluwaCanny: 8:22pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
yungcee: 1. I believe u shd check page 0 of this page(popular chopping trv documents) and or this link www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-how-documents.asp#doc4 2. yeah a statement of 95,000 cad is more than enough if it has good turnover (inflow and outflow) and also source of funds can be proved. 3. Yeah u can apply without paying a ''dime'' of the fees but if u have the means to pay then i will encourage u to do so as it reduces the burden on ur SoA and a clear proof of commitment since ur fees is very huge (27000 cad for the 3semesters) 4. It wont affect ur application if u can shw proof of your relationship with him and his commitment to sponsor you... You can show proof of relationship using ur parents birth certificate and your uncle's birth certificate as they will have the same parent. Goodluck |

Hello House. Thanks for this thread. I studied Economics and completed NYSC in 2015. Now I prefer to build a career in my new found love - Graphic Design in CNA, Newfoundland: 1. Please should I mention anything about BSC Economics in my SOP? 2. Please has anyone made it through with a Visa Grant by using a non-same surname relative with Sponsorship Letter and Sworn Affidavit? I would appreciate any swift and solid response. Cheers. |
