vantage001: Lol... Igbos fought for Nigeria because of their innate greed. You guys wanted to dominate everyone but your grandfathers were not smart enough.... Keep calling Yorubas that are responsible for your eternal political failure. 1 Like |

Jabioro:They are always the victims, crying foul all the time. They make Yoruba their nightmare while the real enemies plunder, rape and kill them at their backyard. I've never seen a set of deluded bunch.I've never heard where Yorubas blame the Igbos for any problem they are facing. |

Jabioro: Infact, you say "greed" and you have defined them. Do you know that they are the ones that stopped our regional system of government when they got power? But immediately power was taken away from them, they wanted it back. After the Hausas have tasted it They are the Genesis of our problems in the south and by extension, Nigeria. |

Now you know. If they are asked to go to schools they will say it's haram and rather go to Qur'anic schools. I'm not saying one shouldn't be versed in religion but there is time for everything. |

Lionofdjungle: Religion should play a backseat (if it has any seat at all) to practical, functional knowledge. Why teach a child Arabic when the lingua franca is English? When the language of international trade is English? Would you not be better off teaching these children mathematics as opposed to wasting hundreds of hours of their lives on Quranic recital? 1 Like |

The problem is not really that of leadership per se, it is their RELIGION, ISLAM. That is what has enslaved the north to believing that western education is evil and as such, shunned anything that is 'western' even healthcare, such that they have their region ravaged by diseases likje polio which given other regions, would have been totally eradicated in Nigeria many years ago. What about GEJ's efforts with the Almajiri schools built for them? They couldn't see beyond the veil of religion and ethnicity, and their corrupt politicians wouldn't help them either. The same politicians whose children are in the best schools in and out of the country. 3 Likes |

ephi123: they will consider anything except mention of population, by some funny way even the educated among them see population as a BIG advantage. Their prophet told them to overrun the world by superior birth rate and that is exactly what they are doing. If you observe anytime population talk comes up at the national assembly the muslims have the same voice. Dividing Nigeria is non negotiable 1 Like |
