optionese: Yes I have done mine (I sent those documents to someone who got it done for me). The Nigerian PCC is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, so be careful to get the dates right. All the best! |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 1:40pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
Onlineise: Are you aware that your Nigerian PCC is valid for just 3 months...? It is stated clearly on the certificate. Double check its validity before you submit it... |

oscar4lyf: I'll suggest you read this thread from page (0). You'll get a better understanding of the process and then empower yourself with this information you need. Anyways, below are the answers to your question - ECA is the report you get from WES after they have assessed your degree certificates. If you use your 2012 IT experience to claim points, you will need to provide a work reference letter from your employer plus other documents like payslips, etc. If you cannot get this, it will be difficult to claim the points. You have to look for a NOC that fits into your IT which you are claiming points for (I answered this previously) NB - I am a sister, not a brother lol. |

optionese: Thanks for your rapid response. What if all the employments are in the same NOC but for some reasons I just don't want to involve let alone go for reference letters from the previous employers? Other contributions are welcomed please |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by ugoiyke79e: 4:50pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
SegunWamiri: Maximum points is gotten at 3yrs work experience. so for ur case, all u need to do is choose one employer, probably one with a maximum number of years of experience required( 3yrs) use this one for your EE profile....u will be required to provide a reference letter for that. Then u will mention d other employment periods in your personal history(found on d post ITA form)- u wont be asked for any reference letter for them. Hope this helps. |

Another post ITA question . I have earlier asked this question but I got only one response. In the space for degrees and certificates to upload , is it just the highest degree (re the one evaluated) or are we to upload from SSCE and above. |

Hello guyz, I need an advice on this issue of work experience. I have a former employer(bank) that I did over two years with and I have also done over three years with my presently employer doing the same job/NOC. Is it necessary to put the bank since the highest point is for 3 years and above which my duration with my present employer covers? Thinking of the stress of having to go the d bank to get that reference letter. Also will not putting the bank on my express entry profile affect my job search when I eventually get there since I intend to claim that I work there(bank) to have a high number of years of experience to brighten my chance of getting a job/better pay. What do you think guyz? Finally, I have a request guyz! I need to boost my IELTS score especially listening to at least 8 and need a place/website I can download free listening test practice. Does anyone have an idea? My present score in L,S,W,R is 7.5,7,7,7. Please help! |

I have my FD certificate booked in january to run tru for one year. I also collected letter from my other bank stating my current balance, account open date and account name. Is this okay to submit as POF or do i need to still submit something else. Do i necessarily need to submit 6 month statement of account. Thanks. |

For listening test , use youtube you will get at least 100 practice questions . If you can do at least 50 past questions you are good to go. On exam day try to zone out . Only you and your headphones . bigbroda: 2 Likes |

optionese: The advice from seniors here is that you scan your evaluated degree, ECA & IELTS certificates; merge them all and upload as a single document in that placeholder for education. Pls leave out SSCE. Cheers. 1 Like |

If you mean in the eAPR. I included ND, two year diploma, hnd, 3 year diploma and one year post graduate. The most important thing is that I didnt claim more points than i should cos I realised its different from the CRS tool that just says two or more degrees. I had to input it as interpreted by WES. telias: |

bigbroda:You can use just the 3yrs for work experience and include your other job in your personal profile. Use the online materials given by British council via mail for the listening. Search for ielts prep materials here you ll find some more. I think ieltsbuddy.com 2 Likes |

Thanks for your contribution but let me try to shed more light on the situation. The previous and present employments is as a Business operations manager. The previous is for about two years while the current would be one year in July. If I decide to claim only for the latter, wouldn't immigration (POST ITA) wonder why I am not claiming points for the previous employment since it's in the same position? ugoiyke79e: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by ugoiyke79e: 10:29pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
SegunWamiri: IRCC will not wonder....you will get marks according to the number of years of experience u fill in your EE profile. no questions asked as long as u mention any other undeclared work history in d personal history section of d post ita form. The minimum requirement is 1year of employment....so u can't even claim ur current employment until july when it completes 1yr.The more number of years of experience u have, the higher points awarded. This means ur previous work will give u higher marks than d current one. So it is logical at this point, for u to device a means to get your previous employer's reference. an immediate supervisor could even write it on a plain sheet attaching their contact details and business card while u write a LOE. There are so many other options for a reference....pls seniors should chip in here. Worst case scenario you wait till july to claim 1year and if u have other factors favouring your profile, u may just make d cut off and get an ITA. cheers. |

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your detailed response. And yes, I intend to wait till July to claim the one year experience. I've done a CRS check and based on the recent ITA cut off, I think I'm good to go |
