I'm still confused but i'll let it go. I read KaptainAfrica's response and there was no shred of ego or insult in it. It seems your idea of "mature" is that people say what you want to hear.

You are still confused or you choose to?

I didn't tell you I got a visa to change your life, nope, I only did to let you know that, nobody can decide who qualifies for a visa or not, as you said then that we didn't qualify, and shouldn't waste our money applying, and the annoying part is the rude and 'mannerless' way you said,

If you know all what you will tell people is to read up from page zero to get thier answers, it's better you don't reply at all and leave others to answer them,

Mr A said this, same with miss B and Mrs F, now am saying the same thing
Don't you think you should take a chill pill??

Actually if people actually checked Page 0, a lot more, they will see the answers to most of their questions. So she has a point. Instead of her now commenting and repeating what has been th trashed from the beginning.

@cumz now I know I shouldn't have joned ssues with you because if there's anything I don't do , its give chances or state if one qualifies for a visa.

If you want take a chill pill, if you want, don't. This is a public thread. You can decide to actually help or spend your time on my matter. IM liking the popularity sef. Kudos sir/ma

Drama Drama Drama. Lolll. I love me some. No vex.

But really, VO tells you ho ha, 'sorry, you are not qualified at this time' and you pick your passport and leave. The worst is you ask the VO why you are not qualified. Some will tell you and some won't. Maybe kaptainAfrica should add 'sorry' next time. Looooolll.

Whoever is not ready to read from page 0 to the end to me, should not get angry because people here refuse to answer your questions.

The answers here might seem 'harsh' yes but apart from being the reality of the totality of the issues, they make you want to think harder and rework things so you will do right by yourself.
I remember the way ladyguinuiver answered me the first time I asked question here. I was angry because my question was genuine. I didn't have any intention of not using the visa at that time contrary to the way she answered me but then, my intention was genuine that was why I asked before even scheduling interview of filling form but is it legal? Will it sound to the VO as real? Does it conform to their own standard cos at that time, it wnt be my own standard anymore but the standard of the country letting me in. In my anger, I still reworked my plans and suspended the other important trip and used my visa. I may not always agree with her but for some of us that appreciate being told the truth, no matter how harsh, I learnt from that her 'harshness'. So to you feeling the answers are harsh, why would they ask you to read from page 0 (why wnt you read in the first place) it is for your own good.

To the person who didn't use the visa and now pregnant. You have a lot of hurdle to cross at the Poe. Cos they will see what you were granted visa for and ask why you didn't use it then. TO THEM, it is might look like a deliberate misrepresentation (as I have read here, on US website etc) but the burden of proof now is on you.
And I also know when you apply for B category visa, you get B1/B2. Then at the POE, they ask you, what you are here for, conference/business etc you get B1 on your entry stamp n like that.
At the end of the day, if you show up with birthing purpose, especially when you never used for the purpose you got it for, you get extra scrutiny. All I will say is go try and be ready to answer questions at the poe.

At the end of the day, we are all right! We are different with our different features etc. Blunt (which comes out as rude attimes, or arrogant) shy, confident etc. You owe no one apology for being who you are. We are all RIGHT! The thing is whether a rude answer or not, let it spur you into action, let it make you reaccess and reevaluate yourself. You know your circumstances more than anyone here.
For people who are angry cos them ask you to read, 'you are doing yourself ' Lolll. So many successful transcripts here of people who only read and went for interview. They just read and evaluated themselves. (I know you no go read back to these transcripts)
Go read back please and stop being Lazy. Lolll.
Let the drama end oh. *kizzzzzez* (in fals voice).

Cumz, I only said what a VO will say at the end of an unsuccessful interview. Based on what the VO feels that the candidate has weak ties to Nigeria. Would you say the VO is cursing the person? An unbiased appraisal of the situation of the person, shows that he has weak ties to Nigeria and its not my place to tell him, how to get strong ties...like you asked - AM I GOD? No, I am not.
Anyway, Cheers!
This your post was so long, I slept off half-way, I think I have a sleeping aid for the days that I find it hard to sleep. Thanks!

cumz:
Okay, you guys that are forming God on this thread as if you yourself are the vo, this message is for you...

Someone comes here, ask a question or two, you reply him as if you are talking to a baby, tell him to read up, that he will see his answers, tell him to start from page zero, evaluate himself and all sort of Rubbish,

Some would even go as far as insulting indirectly,

A guy can't remember his username now came here, asked a question, said all his life story and all what KaptainAfrika said was Sorry you don't qualify shi, you just killed this guy, there are more mature ways of telling someone, what's thier to guide a fellow Nigerian, why not just calm your egoistic balls down and just tell him in a more comforting way,

Ladygaga too is a culprit {I don't know your username would have quoted you, in your mind you will tell me to go and read from page zero abi}... I amd my sister and an interview around March, and we were all worried over, we didn't want to go for the Interview and mess up, my sister came here, asked a simple honest question, out of All that answered I think only one reasonable person gave a comforting answer- seyewest, am not sure-... Ladygaga here almost killed my sister's confidence-ofcos we didn't qualify for a visa, my sister is not married, no job, am undergoing Nysc,-.. I saw the response she gave then and I was like Damn, this girl talk to my sister like this, I felt really bad, we had to talk about it gained our confidence back, what matters is confidence after all... In the end, we went for the interview, came out successful,

My point, if you are not God, and no vo- I don't even believe any vo will have time to spend on nairaland, maybe those attendants sha, no offense to Vos that are here- you have no right to tell someone he doesn't qualify - KaptainAfrika-
Give him your reasons, talk to him in an educated manner, like someone who was brought up well in a good home, advise him.. Don't just come here and spill trash,

And as per username? You got a problem with it? If am a sex addict or not?

You need to calm down when replying people. Seriously, this forum is now looking childish because of the constant bickering and insults. Most women don't even know they are pregnant until they are 7-8weeks gone, especially if it is her first pregnancy. If you were somewhat educated you would know this, instead of relying on Nigerian movies, where a woman starts throwing up like a diseased cow.

Someone can take a visa for the sole purpose of vacation and end up using the visa for urgent medical needs such as transplant and so on. Plans change just like the weather. The B1 is for Business/Medical Purposes, while the B2 is for tourism and Pleasure, If she has the B1 visa attached to her B2 visa, SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO ENTER THE US FOR MEDICAL REASONS.

Don't you think the VO's realize it's too much stress for people to have B2 visa then come back again to ask for B1 visa because of pregnancy or medical issues, hence their decision to MERGE the two visas together.
Have you seen a pregnant woman go for interview at the consulate, say she is going to give birth and they give her the B1 visa alone? Nope it's the B1/B2 because they are smart enough to know she might decide to take a vacation sometime later.

The question to be asked is were you given the B1/B2 visa. If she says yes, then SHE IS GOOD TO GO, her luck now lies at the Point of Entry.
It is not your place to call her fraudulent or bash her, she asked a question if you cannot reply with patience then jump of a bridge. Don't be rude. It's for this reason a lot of people send me private messages because they are scared people like you will bash them on the thread. See I don't know how many times you have entered Yankee or what but it's mostly people with nothing that shout as much as you do. Have a blessed day.

B1 is business only
B2 is tourrism/medical

LOLZZZZZZ This argument is unnecessary so far no one is paying us or anybody for that matter... This is what we like doing and it's our hobby.
I see no issue with reading the first page of this thread in short it's a must for any new person to do.
Check and read the first page and you won't ask anyhow question.
About people who are rude.. well our classification of rudeness is different like me there was a time someone attacked me and I've to step back and access everything I realized that ignoring such people will do me more good and harm which till now is my motto...
Finally remember one thing if your intention is to find a short cut to U.S through non-immigrant visa this thread will never ever assist you in anyway.
God bless us all.. we all one. grin

I like the way you analysed the issue, I said it in part 1 that some of the tone used in responses are harsh, in no particular reference to my questions, yes I totally agree that people should read from page 0, but the harsh responses? I totally disagree, there are better ways of answering questions. I have seen instances where in a rush to shoot someone down a totally wrong perspective of the scenario is given and the VO had to step in to give a true position of issues.

@KaptainAfrica I know you are trying to help, maybe you can just let people like @cumz know that its still a 50/50 chance after analyzing there issue to the best of your ability, miracle do happen to the most unqualified in our eyes as well as the most qualified (the other way round) grin grin grin

Your entire story here is basically a fraudulent one.

1. You applied for a visa for a "vacation" in february but mistakenly happened to get pregnant barely 4 weeks later? Since you're 3 months gone in April, it suggests you took in as early as february or earlier... which likely suggests you were actively trying well before your "vacation" plan. Methinks you definitely planned to get pregnant and you should have declared that at your visa interview. Thankfully, VOs now read through these sort of ridiculous stuff.

2. If you could not go for your "vacation" in february because of dollar scarcity, why then are you now able to go for childbirth barely 6 months later... when the dollar won't be any more available and at a significantly higher cost than if you had simply gone for a vacation as you claimed?

3. It sounds like you've learnt the trick - apply for a visa while actively trying for a baby, go for a "vacation" so as to claim to have used your visa for the intended purpose, then send a "letter of intent" to the embassy before proceeding for your real goal - to go to the US to have a baby. FYI - letters of intent are now as useless as the paper they are written on - precisely because of frauds like you who have abused it thoroughly.

4. Yes you weren't asked if you were pregnant at your visa interview... but you knew that you were actively trying, you should have been honest then.

5. You're not confused, you're simply looking for someone to validate your fraudulent actions.

Unfortunately stories like yours are what makes me strangely agree with people like Afonjaboston... the earlier the US does away with Jus solis, the better... if you have a baby in the US, he/she should only get the passport of the birth parents. Soon you'll be here asking if your child can now access "free" medicaid and creche... the things i have read on these pages... why a regular Nigerian cannot be straightforward, ever, is beyond me.

Thanks for your contribution. i think you can actually pass your message without necessarily abusing people. you dont know me so why should you jump into conclusion. like i said, i didnt know i was pregnant when i went for my interview.
You are not a VO and shouldnt speak like one! no be by force to comment.
