LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. You just proved you are chatting bullshit. Who told you everyone gets the B1/B2 visa, my friend applied this year and got the B2 only. And I have friends that applied for tourism, got the medical visa attached and they have their babies in the Us, no issues with the CBP. You tried so hard to make sense but naaah, it's not working. I will say it again if you have a problem with them authorizing B1 visas without people indicating the need for it on their Ds-160 form, write a letter to the consulate. Don't open your mouth and shout fraudulent. If you have so much problem with how Nigerians storm the US, while not apply for a job with the US border patrol.

God bless you sis. See him talking CBP will record inconsistency in someone's record authoritatively as if he works with them at POE. Thank God say man no be God, I imagine what Nigerians will be passing through this guy's hand if he is in position to stop Nigerians from entering USA

This part? CONTACT- Hotel details or your host address in US.

ORGANIZATION- address like conference/expo/seminar, e.t.c.

Its highly recommended not to make travel plans as per hotel booking and ticket purchase, until you have your US Visa. That said, it is not compulsory to fill that, if you have not booked a hotel or purchased a flight ticket. Just know where you are going, why you are going there and how much it will cost you - ticket and hotel (without booking). Having a reservation - flight ticket or hotel, does not usually make a difference in the interview. But its good to know how much it all costs. U get?

Here comes my question again...

I am travelling to JFK via Qatar airways first week of May on my B1/B2 visa, I am a first time traveller...

Please share with me what kind of questions should I expect from the CBP officers at d POE?, do I need to present any document at d POE? If you have travelled with Quatar airways before please share your experience.
Thank you all for your anticipated reply...rude or polite is welcomed!

I traveled with Qatar to Washington DC in February and there was no issue at the POE. Prepare to explain why you travel with Qatar and your purpose of traveling, nothing much. Save trip in advance.

Basic question would be asked. Why did you come to the USA? How long you will be staying? How much you have with you etc. Just know the purspose and details about your trip and as you got your visa yourself, the information filled in the form. Do not think much of POE and panick, the visa interview is more tense so no worries. Have a safe trip

Chai, so because someone has applied for visa and was not pregnant as at then will now avoid the husband's "touches" because of a CPB officer at one port of entry? Haba? Did you actually go through what you typed before you clicked on submit? Did you say "actively trying well" is fraudulent? Na wa oh. Reading comments from your moniker has always been "nauseating" aswear.

Lady G, Seyewest, Nerf, Chloe7, Omobendel, worry, kaptain Africa, Justwise, constance, misstiti, dotcomnamename, tze-tzefly, favoredgal and a whole lot of others, may the Almighty reward your efforts

This section is rich and of cos I support reading the whole of it, part one and two. I read everything before I asked my first question, knowing fully well that I did not come across such, I got a polite answer, I wasn't referred to page 0. Kudos to LadyG for that... I have learnt a lot here

TWoods:

Your entire story here is basically a fraudulent one.

1. You applied for a visa for a "vacation" in february but mistakenly happened to get pregnant barely 4 weeks later? Since you're 3 months gone in April, it suggests you took in as early as february or earlier... which likely suggests you were actively trying well before your "vacation" plan. Methinks you definitely planned to get pregnant and you should have declared that at your visa interview. Thankfully, VOs now read through these sort of ridiculous stuff.

2. If you could not go for your "vacation" in february because of dollar scarcity, why then are you now able to go for childbirth barely 6 months later... when the dollar won't be any more available and at a significantly higher cost than if you had simply gone for a vacation as you claimed?

3. It sounds like you've learnt the trick - apply for a visa while actively trying for a baby, go for a "vacation" so as to claim to have used your visa for the intended purpose, then send a "letter of intent" to the embassy before proceeding for your real goal - to go to the US to have a baby. FYI - letters of intent are now as useless as the paper they are written on - precisely because of frauds like you who have abused it thoroughly.

4. Yes you weren't asked if you were pregnant at your visa interview... but you knew that you were actively trying, you should have been honest then.

5. You're not confused, you're simply looking for someone to validate your fraudulent actions.

Unfortunately stories like yours are what makes me strangely agree with people like Afonjaboston... the earlier the US does away with Jus solis, the better... if you have a baby in the US, he/she should only get the passport of the birth parents. Soon you'll be here asking if your child can now access "free" medicaid and creche... the things i have read on these pages... why a regular Nigerian cannot be straightforward, ever, is beyond me.

So my bobo finally agreed to reapply, after we jaboed him last year and went frolicking without him. He beefed us so Tey he decreed no more travelling for us.

Lolz

So he goes for the interview, and the VO asks when last he was in US. He was perplexed and was like I applied a few years ago and I was denied, I have never been to US.

VO: so you were not in US last October?
DH: no sir
VO: oh, sorry I was looking at your wife's profile (so he said, this confuses me greatly, though. Why was he looking at my profile?)

DH: My wife has been to US a number of times and I have a US born child

VO: Yer, I know..Then mumbles a lot of stuff hubby couldn't hear while typing on the computer... So, what is the most challenging part of your job?
DH: blah blah blah. More blah and blah blah
VO: ok, good. Pick up your visa in 3 days.

grin

Sorry the transcript was short. That was how the interview went.

We kept it simple. Holiday in NY. Used hotel as contact in US.

... and his 3 year old deflated Ego is back with a bang!He can't wait to enter NY based on logistics. Infact, it's like he will just be going by himself

What your friend said na fallacy of big lie. You can travel at any time within the validity of your visa. Whenever anybody tells you anything, subject it to a test. Check the US website. If it aint there, ignore.
Skyscanner.com to check flights

It might not be the exact date you filled but use it for the reason you got the visa at least for this first trip.

Good morning sweethearts. *kizzzzezz*
