Have you taken time to actually know the meaning of how was your night? It means how was your sexual experience last night., and the are you the last, you got to an ATM and you saw 3 people on queue and no other person in sight, and its obvious its the person standing last on queue instead of you join the queue, you are now asking if the person is the last., Are you that blind that you cant see the obvious?

What if there was a fourth person who briefly stepped out before your arrival?

I think the correct question for the queue part should be "anyone after you please?" Dats if you meet someone who is the last person at the ATM..

Op.. Am I right? U can't just tell me to join the queue just like that. U know how we Nigerians like to behave..booking space and all that.. And am sure you have booked space so don't come off as a saint here

I dont agree. so when you ask your single guest how was your night, are you asking of an imaginary sex partner?
2: you have to ask if d person you stand behind is actually last just to be sure. otherwise some person from nowhere will come and say " na me/we dey here, I/we be go sitdown.

OK, I have to add that communication is d key. as long as the person wasn't rude and you understand the question, why pick offence

Ridiculous post..... I wonder how 'how was ur night' translate to an inquiry about sex. You can only see it that way only if U used a microscope to see a mountain.

Op, pls questions like "how was ur night and how much did u buy watever" shouldn't be a problem cos the person might be asking to know probably the person might be planning on buying a similar thing so he/she needs to have an idea of how much it cost. Secondly, if u have a problem with sone one asking u how was ur night, I guess u will also have a problem with someone saying 'good morning ' to u.

Op sorry about this, you only made maybe one point, that is asking someone why are you still single. It still depends on how you asked the person involved. But if other questions there anoy you, work on your attitude and character.

actually, how was ur night is not a bad question. and why would u categorize it only under sexual performance with spouse? it could be d person doesn't sleep well.
secondly, we Nigerians are fond of being on a que from the house. its actually good u verify if there is a ghost in front of u. before its two persons to ur turn and u see 5 persons from no where saying I was behind him. and den everyone in front of u will just say yes, he was there since.

How was your night, loooool. It's a "Nigerian" question. cheesy

Exactly, how was your night? is a Nigerian question, there are certain words and phrases that are offensive to some people in a culture and are less offensive or not at all offensive to other cultures, for instance saying "your father" in Nigeria is offensive, if you said the word "Ben" around Mandarin speakers the will probably be offended because it means stupid, when someone in Europe says "I will Knock you up in the morning" it simply means they are going to wake you up, to an American listener it means a whole different things.

I think we should start to understand that the meaning of most of these phrases is cultural, and it is language, as long as every single Nigerian understand what you mean and you are not violating any English rules, I guess it is okay

I don't see anything wrong with those questions... In fact is because of people's questions that constantly reminds me I must marry...
When u go to China there way of showing concern is asking if u ve eaten.
@op I will like u to be asking me this questions everyday.
I have seen where 2 grown ups were exchanging blows, the reason, they don't know who is the last on the queue, so when next u see a long queue, ask the last person if he or she is the last person, to avoid... John Cena vs triple H.

@efcc how was your day.

Sweetie you still dont get it. Saying how was your night is not the right sentence in this context, you can better say hope you slept well. And for the other one. Its often better if you say , please Are you the last on queue or better still is there is anyone behind you i just want to be sure. But asking if the person is the last. who wants to be last??

That's true

Lemme add mine

11. Are you a virgin?

Many guys are quick to ask this question barely an hour of having conversation with a lady.. This question is quite ridiculous if you ask me

12. What's the size of your joystick?

Many ladies are fond of asking this ridiculous question and I don't know what they intend to gain from it.. I guess this question is raised just to know if the guy can satisfy them in bed cheesy

mr additional....

Very foolish list. You assumed everyone is married that it why you find it funny that anyone would ask about their night. Stupid list!
Re: 10 Stupid Questions You Seriously Need To Stop Asking by vatiqan(m): 3:19pm On Apr 19, 2017
@ No 1; it's wrong to ask the question, 'hope you slept well'. If the guest/stranger, says 'No', do you stand any chance of profering solution? The right compliment is to ask, "how are you, this morning"! The response you get from this, does not put you under any obligation. Gratias!
Re: 10 Stupid Questions You Seriously Need To Stop Asking by Nobody: 3:19pm On Apr 19, 2017
Op, you sound foreign. My advice is that you get yourself used to the questions you outlined above. Abeg na Naija we dey, and we have our ways of doing things here. Please there is a version of English language called nigerian english just as we have american and queen english. 'How was your night?' for example, is the same as 'hope you slept well' in nigerian english. That is actually what come to mind when asked that question and we appreciate it.

See Nigerians trying to justify their acts lol. Just accept it, Its bad. Dont ask such again lol and if you must ask the queue question asking if someone is last can be annoyingly rude. Its better asked like. Are you the last person on queue or better still hope there is no one at your back lol. These are bad habits we picked from Naija, please dont go and do it abroad ooo
