I actually don't care if you eat shyte or not but don't come here berating a dish you actually never tasted just cos you have a stiff palate and taste buds.

You've dropped your opinion about Ghana food, i've dropped mine.

I think you are mixing things up. He mentioned rice, strictly, you mentioned the other dishes and you're asking him not to berate a dish he has never tasted? I'm confused.

Nigeria ought to be Dubai of Africa. Stop comparing countries like Ghana to Nigeria. Those countries are doing better in my opinion considering the resources they have and changed ways of doing things. You will not compare ireland or England to Bulgaria or Romania. Close to 60 years of oil exploration and Nigeria is still as it is... The only thing I gotta say is shame on us all. Agabaya is what we are. Ghana's oil industry is beginning to come to lime light, same as kenya. Wait and see what these economies will look like in 10 years.

Crime in Ghana~In this regard, Ghana security forces are not a match to their Nigerian counterparts, it's just that Ghanaians are relatively law abiding than we are, they're not over ambitious like we Nigerians. Although, Ghana is well known for its relentless "Sakawa boys" (A diabolic answer to Nigerian 'yahoo boys', these guys can kill as a form of sacrifice or whatever, unlike our yahoo yahoo boys). Armed robberies are very prevalent in three northern regions; Northern Region, Upper east and Upper west. These places are synonymous to "bike snatching". You don't dare flaunt your new motor bike any how.
OP is like you don't know the difference between yahoo yahoo and yahoo yahoo plus.

Ask around for answers because Naija yahoo boys kills also

Anyway, nice observation to console Nigerians

I agree with all but this point. Ghanaians make good food, their indigenous dishes and rice inclusive.
Dunno where u went and had bad rice in Ghana, maybe in Upper region undecided egusi is not a Ghanaian dish so you don't even have to bring that comparison.
Kenkey and okro with koby fish or with shito and grilled tilapia
Omo tuo and sardine with lots of veggies
Fufu and light soup
Banku and groundnut soup
Egg and garden egg sauce with unripe plantain
Red red garnished with kelewele
Those are proper Ghanaian foods and absolutely delish.
Madam you suppose be Ghanian citizen by now. I have tasted both Nigerian and Ghanian jollof no biggie. I didn't taste anything different. Like I always say it depends on the cook.

Road network in Ghana Roads here are not the best I've seen, most of the inter-city roads are single carriage. Imagine, the only major road that linked Accra to the Commercial city of Ghana Kumasi, is also a single carriage. angry Like that wasn't enough, from Kumasi to Tamale (the biggest and most populous region) unfortunately, wasn't lucky to escape the prevailing fate, in fact with more road bumps than the hairs on my head. That your waist pain may get more severe after plying that road.
.... To the next big thing "electricity".

what about their Internet.?? you didn't mention that

You still don't get it;

1. OP mentioned rice, and his discourse was rice, STRICTLY.
2. She quoted him to ask the OP if he had tried other Ghanian delicacies, to which his response implied he had not.
3. She quoted again, claiming the OP 'berated a dish' (the OP mentioned rice in his post and no other food).

Going by the points above, the OP only talked down on their rice, whereas, she was the one who mentioned and suggested that the OP try other Ghanaian dishes. I still don't get the 'berating what you have not tasted' part.

Am Ghanaian and nop Ghanaian food is not horrible. depends on the restaurant you eat from. So do not generalise.

I saw the post on that egushi soup and yes I agree that plate wasnt appealing to the eye. Agushie is a traditionla dish in Ghana I make agushie stew we call it stew not soup with alefu and palm oil or frytol trust me it looks as yummy as ever. I don't know where he bought that food from but I bet you find a good restaurant in Ghana and you will forever lick your fingers.

Seconded. My experience in Ghana was nightmarish as per food. The Okro soup had so much oil and was way too watery.
Although, their markets are very neat and their hotels too. They're very warm and hospitable but apart from the electricity 9ja is better.

You are wrong here Ghanpol are more organised and more disciplined than our police officer , during my regular visits there I have never seen them stop our cars at night to ask for bribes but instead they do quick profile of the occupants and immediately let us leave ...Op you have shown poor knowledge of Nigeria when you said Nigerian Yahoo boys don't do rituals , email yahoo died years ago what you see and call yahoo boys now are a bunch of ritualist just like the Sakawa boys
