Thank God people like you are from delta state if not of tribalism delta state governor should try and associate with Lagos state people because the state has more potentials than PH but they would be chanting Biafra . misplaced priority angry when the youth were bombing many of my delta friends were not happy but my Igbo friends were expressing satisfaction undecided yet instead of moving with developed state you'll see them saying we are not Yoruba's. see Lagos kebbi collaboration that SS ana SE would not have agreed on if it were them. nothing is too late you are the one to develop your state your future is in your hands your are still among the richest just use Lagos state strategy to generate more revenue cool then you'll see Lagos and delta planning light rail connection grin
If you need Igbos to wail on your behalf you should've asked nicely instead of throwing tantrum all over the thread.
WTF.

I understand your timid mentality as bestowed to you by your miserable conditions and unfortunate creation into a bad tribe. But give respect to whom its due. The Igbos big pass you. Paint them as bad as you like, say they do drugs, call them anything but you can never be like them. We pass you, at least for now.

your wahala,not mine....

@ Ovo P and Skywalker, I see you guys share the same line of reasoning with me. Infact, your observations and submissions resonates with me.
If only there was or there is to be a youth political party, honestly I will jump at it, to it, for it, unto it and in it

Delta state is nw a state where the youths are nw fighting for king of agberos. these set of people refuse to work for money, they prefer goin into any building site and companies to ask for what they call "DEVE" if a road is to be repaired 2dae watch this agberos invade the site for the development levy. if nt paid they will pursue the contractors.

Enough said the question nw is what is the way foward?

The state/local govt n the people e.g youth have a lot to play in the development of the state. The leaders need to come up with a plan on hw to restructure and drive economic activities in the state, which the people will have to comply. In this plan should be the development of the educational sector, agricultural sector, infrastructures, roads and bridges, eletricity, basic and social amenities.
The upcoming youths (teens) will need a change of mindset. They need to be tutored that the world doesn't revolve around oil as they have been made to believe. And the people should try to welcome development.

People are a product of thier environment.

From the inception of civilian rule in Delta state it has been ruled by criminal elements. I watched as the former garage boys became king makers.

Illiterates thugs and political henchmen who have bought qualifications through the backdoor to give themselves credibility. Are the ones determining the direction of the state.

The convicted criminal Ibori has succeeded in setting up a dynasty. imposing his first cousin as governor and now his best mate Okonwa. Without doubt Uduaghan never ever won any election in Delta state, indeed Ibori only won his first term election. After that every other election has been rigged. The people are disenfranchised they are forced to accept the status quo.

After admitting guilt to multiple corruption charges in a competent London court, he Ibori has been welcomed and rewarded with a chieftancy title, a state banquet and multiple celebration by the high and mighty in our society. We have made a public declaration CRIME pays and is HIGHLY HONOURED.

Militants after committing mayhem and murder are celebrated. They even have police escorts and are given multi million dollar security contracts. It's like paying the armed robber not too rob you. We all know who they are. Militants are now part of the well orchestrated election rigging infrastructure in Delta state. They have become almost untouchable and above the law.

I remember Ibuya as Sapele LG Chairman flogging the councillors like children, with the help of his henchmen to ensure loyalty and his brand of discipline. That's the levels of political depravity Delta has sunk into.

When people look up for aspiration, who do they see Confirmed state looters and criminals in power. Now our youth aspire to be like them, being a cult member is a platform for political promotion and big money.

I CRY 4 DELTA development is a pipe dream Warri is a ghost of its former self.
