Giroud has dribbled a defender and scored. Does that mean he is a better dribbler than Carzola? Can anyone think of playing Awoniyi ahead of Iheanacho on the wings or in attack midfield role?

Compare that to Iheanacho and Success.

Oga, this is Awoniyi vs Nacho and not Giroud vs Carzola. grin

Awoniyi dey play for wing wella na. grin grin

I am not saying he is a bad player, I am just saying that forgiveness is overhyping the lad. Against Uruguay or was it Mexico, I can remember that Yahaya did everything in the middle, gave it to Iheanacho who produced a brilliant over the top ball for Awoniyi and his only contribution was that he put it away, but Forgiveness is now saying that he saved us countless times which was false. He was merely the finisher there, he didn't really score any brilliant individual strike that won us games

Na only the bad part of him games you see, ba!? grin

You didn't see the equalizer again Sweden, ba?
You didn't see the two brilliant goals against Uruguay, ba?
You didn't see the 5 assists, ba? grin

I can understand forgiveness displaying his massive bias in his analysis but I find it difficult when another absorbs it. Is it not Iheanacho in our last friendly against Senegal that comments came of Iheanacho making some nice moves? During the game, someone even asked who was the player making such moves and another replied Iheanacho.

Now someone can absorb Awoniyi is a better dribbler. Remarkable. Please stop this campaign. It is sickening. Is it not Iheanacho we watched dribble the goalkeeper and score that earned him CNN goal of the week.

People should fear God.

Ajax young guns are through to the semi finals with 10 men.

Three Belgian league clubs did very well in the Europa league. Gent knocked out Spurs and Anderlecht pushed man united to extra time. It illustrates the quality of the league and why it is an excellent pivot for young players.

When u beat ur man it is a dribble, it doesn't matter if u do leg over or not. He did dribble in that clip but i don't see him doing that alot.
U are right without that keeper we could have beat Brasil and I felt he could have done better with the goal against Germany.

Mutiu was a very tactical player.
Very efficient.

Also a utility player.

I wonder why he has not taken his coaching serious just like Keshi, Siasia, Amuneke and Oliseh.

What issues are you talking? Is there any time I talked about Nacho's issue and City have I Not taking my time to explain my point?

Have you sat down to think of How Iheanacho can grow into a top talent despite playing time. Before Iheanacho joint City, I was one if those explaining why City was a good choice.

Before this bench Issue started, I was one of those that pointed out the possibility of Iheanacho benching and explained that he can still grow working under the conditions at City.

Unfortunately, apart from playing time, what other suggestion for Iheanacho can you make? I am getting tired of explaining things in details and getting this kind of replies.

Have you honestly followed a youngster who had the possibility of becoming the best player in the World? A player with raw immense talent, undeniable brilliance and watch him fail because he went in search of game time.

Giovani Dos Santos had it all. During a preseason, he came from bench and did better than Eto'o, Henry and some others. We felt Barcelona were showing the guy and felt a move for game time at Tottenham was a brilliant move. He was to work with Juande Ramos who was brilliant at Sevilla. Managing talents like Alves, Seydou Keita, Diego Capel, Renato and I think Kanoute.

It was a big mistake for Dos Santos. He lost the discipline and ended up not playing at all. Then it was a free fall for him despite his talent.

It is baffling that I have to repeatedly hammer that most of the work goes on behind the scenes. Not in front of cameras. I have written and as I have said, I am a genuine fan of Nacho. I am one person who will come on this thread and point out Iheanacho is playing well while others wrote him off.

I was one calling for Nacho's inclusion in the Super Eagles when some felt he was not ready. You can keep hating Guardiola but this is about Iheanacho's development. As I have said, when Nacho feels he is ready, he will leave or get a run of games at City. The young man is brilliant and hardworking.

Please will you stop this. You mention don santos to backup your claim, but you forgot Paul pogba left man u to juventus for playing time. Paul pogba became one of the best in the world due to the action he took, and please don't tell me he never stay to learn the all and all of a midfield legend. To be the most expensive player in the world no be moi moi. look at other young players like mbape, rashford even dybala and dembele, they are playing and still learning. No one is saying training is not important, but when you combine playing and training together it gives you quicker and better results. I don't think you know what playing time can do to a player, it gives you that moral booster to want to learn more. Let me give you a typical example, in school after the day's teaching you are given homework to test your understanding of the topic. So please get it, no one, I repeat no one is against him learning. Iheanacho should be treated fairly, because he has never disappointed when call upon.

I know that Ajax is a Dutch team.

If there was a team that personified football development it is Ajax. Unfortunately they do not have as much money as they use too and or refuse to follow the prevalent business model.

Ajax set the benchmark for Youth football development. They would be my first choice for any young player trying to make a career in football.

The list of ex Ajax players is like a Who is Who in top world football.

BREAKING NEWS: SUPER SOPRTS STOPS LIVE BROADCAST OF NPFL MATCHES

Cable sports channel SuperSport has pulled out of the
deal with organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football
League (NPFL) due to alleged breach of contract.
SuperSport for years has been the official broadcast sponsor
of the NPFL which is organised by the League Management
Company (LMC).
According to SuperSport, the termination was as a result of a
breach of contract on the part of the LMC.
Caroline Oghuma, the Public Relations officer of DSTV
could not reveal how the LMC breached the contract of their
deal.
“It was terminated due to a breach of contract, that’s the
official position of the company on this matter,” Oghuma
told Pulse Sports.
The General Manager of SuperSport West Africa Felix
Awogu also told Pulse Sport that the company have spent
an average of N6b annually for the last nine years for both
broadcast right and production.
All efforts to know how the LMC breached the contract was
not successful as SuperSport insist that it is on the LMC part
to reveal that information.
Chairman of the LMC, Shehu Dikko could not be reached
for further information.
The development comes weeks after Supersport took a
similar decision in Kenya – terminating a ten-year
relation with the Kenyan Premier League.
Currently, they only show live matches of the Zambian
Super League and the South Africa’s Premier Soccer
League.
In 2016, the company, who claimed to be downsizing
its operations in Africa for business reasons, ended
their union with the Ghanaian Premier League, which
another pay television company Star Times have since
taken over.
Supersport, who used to hold the TV right of the
Nigeria Basketball League, has lost it to Kwese Sports.
There are also dwindling subscription numbers and
stiff competition from new entrants like Star Times,
Kwese Sports among others.
In August 2013, the LMC secured a four year broadcast
deal with Supersport worth $34 million. The contract
was to run for four years, between 2015 and 2019.
Following the take-over of the basketball league, Kwese
Sports is likely to be the next broadcast right owner of
the NPFL.
