martinz1:Cmon! take a look at the environment. That could be a picture of 2 tokumbo UK used cars somewhere in Nigeria, or it could be a picture of an SUV fitted with Nigerian plates in the UK. Now take a close look and consider the environment, would you place your bet that that is Nigeria? |

obailala:There are better places like that in nigeria, when seen on pics wont look like naija Like the guy said, that is a car dealer stand in owerri, that means he know the place very well, Car parks in uk have marks I dont see anything special about the environment there 2 Likes |

cheaphost: Personally, and after carefully looking at the picture, I deduced, and strongly, that this is not Nigeria. Some points: 1) Not sure about Nigerians but people do travel with their cars. One of my close friends flies his classic Mini Cooper every year to Australia for an historic races. 2) The issue that I'm having is that there's nothing special about that GL that he'll import it to UK on a temporary basis. Germany is right next door. |

2kass: Owerrians and the present governor of Imo state have a joint dream: to make Owerri look like London while the rest of Imo state look like Somalia. Owerrians convinced the Imo governor Okorocha: until Imo gets a " befitting state capital," to compete with other Mega Cities of the world, the rest of Imo state must wait. Okorocha bought it, five years going, nearly 90% of the state's federal allocations have gone to demolishing old structures and rebuilding in Owerri; the rest of Imo state outside Owerri looks like abandoned property, except for a few scratches here and there. |

successmatters: Yes you can use the Nigerian plate for a year, then you have to change it. I remember years back a friend who's based in london had luxury cars that were wasting away in Lagos cos he spent more time in the U.K., he then shipped his car from Lagos to tilbury port. So it's possible. |
