actually, u might have to leave the cyber cafe where u are doing your reg because some cafe owners don't know how to go about the configuration of the biometrics stuff... some do not have java installed on their system, just find a better alternative ..

To everyone having thumbprint issues...

Make sure you have Java installed.
Make sure you have .net framework 4.0 installed.

Then download the NYSC thumbprint client software from the thumbprint page.
Login using your details and try, also make sure you apply enough pressure to avoid clarity error.

I was able to choose only first and second choice states while registering. 3rd and 4th didn't show up for me.
