A lot of Candidates made one mistake or another while filling their Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Jamb Registration Form, and after the results is released, they found out the mistakes and getting it fixed might look like a dead end…

But thanks to Nigeriaschool.com.ng Team who are always eager to help anywhere possible!

Some of the mistakes Candidates makes whiling filling their JAMB Form includes;
– Mistake in Birth date
– Mistake in Age
– Mistake in Name(s)
– Mistake in – (Put here whatever the mistake it is you want to correct)

The good news is that, it can be corrected!

Update: You can Now rectify any Mistake you made during JAMB registration without going to their Zonal Office! Everything can be done online – We advice all those who are preparing for 2017/2018 Jamb Registration to take precaution while filling the form.

That is an expensive mistake. I doubt it bt since yu av not written d exam, yu can try ur luck at d reg centres or JAMB office.

Seeing the number of complaints received over this Jamb registration issues and how the whole thing was setup, is far from perfect. One should be able to edit this things easily at least there should be a deadline for corrections and all.

Don't worry,as at last year u can change ur subject combo at d centre of ur exam on d day of ur exam. Dnt really knw if dats gonna b available dis year 2 bt it should

you can change it afterwriting d exam by then you can apply for correction of data... i also made mistake in mine during registration instead if computerscience i put computer education...so I'll just apply for correction of data after the exam

It can be changed online, though it costs a sum of N2500 payable to JAMB account.

Just go to ur jamb profile..
.
Click on the menu bar.
.
U will would see a link titled 'application for correction of data'
.
Click on it, then select the particular item u want to be corrected. Be it name, change of date of birth, etc.
.
When u do this, an invoice would be generated(remita) asking u to pay a sum of 2500 at any bank.
.
U print out the invoice and proceed to the bank to make the payment.
.
At the bank, u would most likely be given a receipt on which an activation code would be on.
.
Log into ur profile, go back to that particular correction of data tap nd click on the one u want to correct nd provide the pin generated on the receipt at the bank.
.
U would then be granted access to correct the particular data u want to.
.
Pls do so carefully, 'cos u cannot afford costly mistakes like this.

Something like this happened to my sis but her's was gender issue the person that registered it filled male instead of female when she went to jamb office in benin they told her to buy another jamb form. So she bought another one and filled the accurate details. That was in the year 2010
You can visit any jamb office close to you to ask for help

It is very possible what you need to do is to go to Jamb head office located at bwari in Abuja and tender your complain. You check their servicon desk which they will guide you on what to do. Most importantly, you need to print your Jamb slip etc for you to show them where the error apply. Good luck.

Say what u know....
His problem is change of subject combination, not change of course or institution.
His problem can be rectified by paying 2500 to th ebank via remita platform.
The process is clearly stated on the Jamb profile of each candidate.
