You can get a good 3G phone with 2Gb RAM on aliexpress for 20-22k.

If the exchange rate was lower than 320, it would have been cheaper sef

Thanks to the internet, we are no longer confined to buying only what is locally available.
We now have options!
Let nobody take it personally, it's called globalization!

Honestly I don't know why you people decided to argue with techno, infinix and gionee fans.
You should have atleast try to educate them about things like BUILD QUALITY, CAMERA QUALITY(and not just how many shitty pixels but the quality of the pixels, sizes and where they are made) SOCs( this is the real deal) type of memory use(emmC and UFS) to mention but a few.
Many people here don't even know about the type of processors used on phones, they only know about cores, and how many gz. Display type.etc.

Ma'am, I bought a Dual OS (Win8 plus android) tablet from aliexpress in August 2015 for $119 (about N25,000 at that time) and till now, it is still in good condition. I rarely use my laptop since I bought the tablet.

I understand your skepticism but once you've used a good Chinese product, you will testify. Can't you see the number of people testifying positively on this thread? Trust Nigerians, if something isn't worth it, they won't throw their money into it.

Do you even know that techno, infinix and gionee only sell in Africa. There're banned in most countries and they don't even sell in their country of origin because of quality of products.
For instance know India, there's embargo on mediatek phones by manufacturers. You've to use a Qualcomm processor at least.
You can get a phone that beats phantom 6+ at half the price.
I currently use a ONEPLUS 3T device from ALIEXPRESS and I got it for less that 150k - A phone that beats S7 and iPhone 6+ in all angles.

Must we all buy expensive phones?
What is wrong with using a 20k phone as long as you are satisfied with it? I believe you are familiar with the saying 'cut your coat according to your size'

Anyway, there are also people who have bought phones of over a 100k testifying here too. The point we are trying to make is that you can actually get good value for money from phones gotten from aliexpress and the like.

Rocking my Aliexpress purchased Lenovo K3 Note since 2015 and still no issues. People love the camera quality so much that I have decided not to upgrade anytime soon.

Things to note
1 Review different sellers to familiarize yourself with the real generic spec and separate the sheep from the goats. You can check specs in www.gsmarena.com
2 Buy from a seller with positive reviews from different continents.
3 Do not be too greedy by looking for prices that are too good to be true.
4 Get a tempered glass and protective case when buying the phone or better still negotiate with sellers to include it for you.

I have been using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro since June 2016 and still loving it! The phone is yet to develop a single fault. I cannot say the same about the Infinix that I got few months down the line for which I am already considering a replacement.

Looking at getting another Xiaomi phone via Aliexpress sef smiley

I get your point and that is where due deligence comes in. Before you buy any phone whether cheap or expensive, you have to do alot of research and read user reviews to note the pros and cons of the device. If you can live with cons, you go ahead and buy, if not, you look for another device. I do this a lot.
People who end up complaining about their device are those who did not note the cons of the device before purchase.

Re: What You Should Know About Buying Phones From Aliexpress by Nobody: 10:20am On Apr 21, 2017
From my experience, phones from Tecno & their sister company - Infinix' share peculiar attributes after using it for some time and these are:

Shortened battery life.
Shaky Usb port., (this was the case of my Camon c8) after just 5 months.
Increased Lagging.
Camera deteriorates a lot. esp. selfie cam
Slow charging..

These Oems seriously need to up their game.
On the other hand i have used phones from Doogee, Lenovo purchased from aliexpress and i didn't witness such experience.
