Icon4s: Good morning house, I was surprised that none of our league matches were on TV some 3 weeks back, and with the recent developments it's disappointing as I was even thinking of buying a gotv decoder to follow the matches but now it's out of the winning. this myt have adverse effects on the league matches as clubs myt indulge in some dirty shenanigans due to the absence of camera, well dere isn't much to worry about as NFF and LMC officials are always around to see d games, that would reduce the damage to some extent. But I am thinking if local coverage of the league is not well taken care of, what will now happen to the proposed rites of AIT to broadcast the matches in the UK, I even think AIT should get the full rights at once and continue where supersport have stopped. they may have poor coverage at the start but with time it would get better. Oga Icon4s I know Collin udoh works with Kwese sports TV, maybe that's where they have edge as he is close to the top official, however my question is on what cable TV dish is Kwese sports on? so I can know which decoder to plan for, as a student e no easy but, once I have it, he Don become my own... 1 Like |

forgiveness: What pushed Oliseh forward was is not the constant criticism of Keshi's tactics? I am not saying being vocal is what you need to get the job, it helps project you. I have never read an article about Mutiu Adepoju's opinion about anything about the national teams. That aside. He has never worked as any body's assistant at any level. I am even hearing from you that he bagged a UEFA license before Oliseh. You don't just expect things to come your way when you are not actively involved in activities that will project you. Besides that, do you, his spokes man/defender, even know if he is interested in handling any of our national teams? Has there been any time that application was called for Super Eagles coaching job that he applied or any one mention his name? Just be there and be crying marginalization. That is your usual way. 1 Like |

Danycrusoe: Some1 said Kwese sports is on CTL. But that name 'Kwese' sounds Ghanaian. Talking about AIT, that station mtcheeew. Firstly they will come with some yeye-yeye commentators that don't even understand the rules of football and history of those clubs and players. Secondly, the picture quality will not be different from that of the analogue NTA and also poor camera positioning and lack of good replays from vital angles. Thirdly you cannot see weekly fixture just like how you see when you press ok on Super Sports Fourthly, AIT Might plan to show a game and the next thing one political party will buy over that time from AIT to air live their political campaign. And next thing you'll see: "Sorry viewers we are not able to air the 3SC vs Kano Pillars match due to APC national convention holding in Abuja". You know stuffs like that. Or one Church will just buy that time and be showing one of their programs. Just like how AIT chose to show one Catholic show called 'Oremus" when we were waiting to watch Nigeria vs North Korea at 2015 WYC. Na my phone I take watch that naija match that day. The things just Dey just break and booth I no dey even see goal na when the players dey celebrate I dey know. Fifthly, I don tire to dey buy different decoders full house. My HiTV Decoder and dish still dey. I have always had DSTV. I had to buy Startimes when they chose to move our U17 and U20 World cup matches their. I have not loaded my Star-times decoder for almost 1 years now. It is jus there. 2 Likes |

Ilechukwu Berates PFA XI Without Moses , Tips Ndidi To Make Future All - Star Team Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, believes Super Eagles duo of Victor Moses and Wilfred Ndidi have been fantastic for Chelsea and Leicester City respectively this seaso, but understands why both Nigerians were not named in the PFA all-star team, Completesportsnigeria.com reports. The Professional Footballers Association on Thursday named the PFA Team of the Season which consisted of four Chelsea and four Tottenham Hotspur players. The list also has a Liverpool, Manchester United and an Everton player on it. "I think Victor Moses and Wilfred Ndidi have done a good job for their clubs so far. But perhaps you could say there are players who deserved it more," Ilechukwu told Completesportsnigeria.com. "Moses is not a natural defender. He was converted to a wing-back at Chelsea by Antonio Conte, while Ndidi only joined Leicester City in January. The season began in August 2016. "Politics is everywhere. I may not talk or argue much about Ndidi, but Moses is supposed to be among them because he has been one of Chelsea's best players this season. But I'm sure they can make such a team in the near future especially Ndidi." Arsenal's duo of Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic were conspicuously missing from the lineup despite their huge roles at their clubs. Sanchez has scored 19 Premier League goals while Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals in his maiden season in England. PFA TEAM OF THE SEASON David De Gea (Manchester United) Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur) Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur) David Luiz (Chelsea) Gary Cahill (Chelsea) N'golo Kante (Chelsea) Dele Alli (Totenham) Sadio Mane (Liverpool) Eden Hazard (Chelsea) Romelu Lukaku (Everton) Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) Source: http://www.completesportsnigeria.com/ilechukwu-berates-pfa-xi-without-moses-tips-ndidi-make-future-star-team/ 1 Like |

Candidly speaking, I've never for once got convinced by Good Joe's points on Nacho's drilling palava at Man City! If..... I repeat, if Nacho really wanna make it in the Game of Football, he should leave Man City for another (average) Club to relaunch his Career! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hannover Striker Bazee Suffering From Hoffa Syndrome, Unlikely To Make Nigeria Debut Noah Bazee is unlikely to make his competitive debut for the Super Eagles in their African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June. Sportbuzzer has reported that Bazee is not suffering from an initially suspected mucus inflammation in the knee, but Hoffa-Kastert syndrome, and an operation has not been ruled out in the coming weeks. Hannover coach Andre Breitenreiter confirmed as much at the press conference ahead of Saturday's game versus Erzgebirge Aue, stating that the young striker has been placed on the long-term injury list. The news will come as a big blow to Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr as he has not hidden the fact that he plans to monitor him at close quarters during the national team's get-together in Corsica, before a potential competitive debut against Bafana Bafana. Bazee, 20, has been inactive for Hannover since March 18 when he lasted 23 minutes on the pitch against FC St. Pauli. He resumed training just before the Easter holidays but had to reduce the workouts with the team in the past few days. **Igho Kingsley Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=22788 |

Icon4s: The economic recession have really affected Nigeria in all sectors of the economy. Supersports withdrew their sponsorship of the league owing to the economic downturn and the dollar-naira exchange rate gyrating up and down like a yoyo. From what I gathered, the Cbn delisted super sports from the category of business ventures whom they sell dollars to at the official rate. Meaning that Supersports will have to access forex via the bureau de change round trippers. Being a foreign coy, obviously their expenses are in dollars while their income is in naira. When they signed the contract with LMC,they accessed forex at the office rate of N160. The alternative was to raise their subscription charges but they are bound by law not to raise their subscription rate. I don't think the NPFL will be on the screens anytime soon. Even the touted Kwese sports is a foreing owned organisation. They will still fight the same demons Super sports fought and in this case, they could be operating at a loss. The business climate in Nigeria is not conducive at all. |

jamel9: I gave you Dos Santos to show the whole leaving talk is not a guarantee. It is as simple as that. There is more to the mechanics of success. Just as Mbappe and co. are learning and playing, others like Moratta were on the bench and still produced quality when they got a run. It is easy to say Pogba did well when he played but keep neglecting the fact that he was learning without regular time at the top level of Manchester United. The fact remains and is undeniable, a player can improve without playing time. That is why some players get a chance from the bench, he shows wonders on the field. This is a fact. |

Humility017: KVB highlights the point I am making. Even though he was not regular at Chelsea, it did not mean he was not developing. Kevin went to Germany and was the best player. The bench at Chelsea did not mean he could not meet his potential or it stunted it's growth. |

I stumbled upon this highlight of the match between 3SC and Ifeanyi Ubah on fb, please kindly view it, it involves the two incidents that led to the two penalties given to FCIU. 3SC officials and coach made a meal of those calls as if they were manufactured whereas school boy errors by their defence led to the penalties. before we castigate these NPFL referees we should think twice. this is y we need live coverage for our league matches, with this video one can deduce Wetherby the ref was ryt or not, not just dwelling on biased reports. tbaba1234, bascovanveli, icon4s, Godlfish80 and other "threadites". https://mobile.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1494210787297391&id=204176799634136&refid=7&_ft_=qid.6411511267388577384%3Amf_story_key.5261485862841790201%3Atop_level_post_id.1494210787297391 |

NFF OFFICIAL: ENYEAMA FREE TO REPRESENT NIGERIA AGAIN Vincent Enyeama of Nigeria dejected during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations match between Zambia and Nigeria on the 25 January 2013 at Mbombela Stadium©Pic Sydney Mahlangu/BackpagePix The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have insisted that they do not have any issues with Vincent Enyeama, who quit international football in 2015. This was after a row between back then Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh and Enyeama, the 34-year-old former Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper. The current Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr recently stated that he would like to have the experienced goalkeeper back in the national team, but he added that Enyeama still has issues with the NFF. However, the NFF's spokesman Ademola Olajire has since explained that the OSC Lille shot-stopper should feel free to join the Nigerian camp if called up by German tactician Rohr. "NFF has never had any problem with Enyeama and I don’t understand why he made such statement and that the NFF is the only reason he can’t return to the Eagles," Ojaire said on Own Goal Nigeria. "The only issue I can recall that lead to his retirement from the team, was when he had problems with former coach Sunday Oliseh. "Enyeama or any player that Rohr needs to make the Eagles fly is welcomed to the team". Source: http://africanfootball.com/news/703242/NFF-Official-Enyeama-free-to-represent-Nigeria-again 1 Like |

Nwakali Has No Plans To Extend MVV Stay, Wants Arsenal To Process Work Permit Flying Eagles skipper Kelechi Nwakali is not expected to extend his loan spell at Dutch club MVV Maastricht, according to his adviser and brother Allwell Nwakali. The attacking midfielder was shipped out on loan shortly after arriving the Emirates Stadium outfit last summer after failing to get a UK work permit, and Nwakali Senior has urged the Gunners to process the document, adding that he's good enough to play for their first team. ''I don't think Kelechi will remain at Maastricht, I will have a meeting with his intermediary soon to know the way forward,'' said Allwell Nwakali to allnigeriasoccer.com . ''For now, it doesn't appear he is remaining with Maastricht. As soon as the league finishes his contract with them has ended. We will now look at other options though nothing has been discussed with Arsenal yet. ''The best thing for Arsenal to do is to get him a work permit, so that even though they are taking him on loan he has the permit. But he has the qualities to play for Arsenal in midfield. '' Kelechi Nwakali has totaled 28 appearances (2 goals) in all competitions for MVV ahead of their fixture on Friday night against Jong PSV. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=22792 1 Like |
