it doesn't have any effect at all. your DOB will completely be ignored at camp but if u want u can change it at ict at camp u would be given a certificate format for and u can effect any correction but even at that it doesn't have any effect whatsoever

The certificate itself is accurate, it's just the one on NYSC website

I guess you mean the waec certificate? Well, it would have been better and easier if this error had been corrected before registeration began but theres no problem. From what i just read on their site, the system for correction has changed. Your waec information will now be used for correction. let me upload the info incase you missed it. it may not affect anything though but for nysc to strongly put up this info this year, they probably wanna change tactics.

Click on payment you should different methods click on MasterCard or Visa n u would b redirected to remita page you'll see ur RRR(Remita retrieval reference) you'll see pay with card or wallet select d card u want enter ur details that's all

Once you've previewed and submitted,is there any way of correcting minor mistake like the "from year" & "to year" where you have your institution on the green card

if uve done thumb print n selected ur states u av completed ur registration.
Ur call-up number would b on ur green slip, if u pay you'll see it on ur dashboard once payment reflects online.

You are actually correct, states already visited wouldn't show up in your choice of states options, that's one of many tricks NYSC uses in posting which are unknow to many..........

U are very wrong, am serving now in lagos batch B 2016 stream 2. During my registration I chose my state visited as lagos,imo,.(my home address and school). On the last phase, I chose Abuja, lagos,null,null(null meand not active at that moment,based on luck) and I got lagos.
Plz stop deceiving people.

After I am done, my friend did his. He did d same as I did but in his case he chose abuja,lagos,kano,edo(now the 4 options came out) and at d end he got lagos. We both met in camp and we were happy.

NOOOO please dont use your index finger. it has to be your thumb. It is the same thumb that must be verified in camp so no index to avoid stories that touch. So many of us had issues with thumbprinting too. What i did during my registration was move to another cafe and surprisingly it went through at one go. Meaning that sometimes, the issue can be from the cafe thumbprinting machine they using. You can also try sanitizing your hands and applying pressure to your thumb so the blood flow will show on your thumb(redddish). These are some of the odd but effective ways some of us could get it done.

@Gentlelord, Royalsleek. I ve finally done mine reg few minutes back and luckily i saw Lagos but i went instead for Ogun, Anambra, Kaduna and Nassarawa.

U don't have to worry. It is not a problem. When u are in camp during registration u will fill d right date of birth. It happend to me, instead of 7tg december I saw 14 december. So do not panic. You are good to go

Please o. When I logged in it showed the bio data page instead of the fingerprint page. I tried re- logging several times but I still couldn't access the fingerprint page. But I've completed the registration in order to choose desired states on time. please who else had similar issue or what can I do? I've already sent a mail to nyscsupport.
