Hello house, please I need clarifications on the following 1. I want to do my ECA, do I fill the form with my maiden name or my husbands name. I have already done newspaper publication for change of name. 2. Should I use maiden name or my husbands name all through the application (ECA, IELTS, PCC, MEDICALS.... ETC) |

deeore: Not compulsory but if you have it now, why wait? That way, there would be no need for them to ask you to pay again once your application is approved thereby removing unnecessary delay. My opinion though. |

OYASALOF: I did all mine in my maiden name because that is what I have on all my credentials and international passport. You have to go with the name on your international passport and if it has changed to your married name then marriage cert will have to follow all your docs... 3 Likes |

Please is it possible that there is a mistake on my IELTS result? Listening: 8.5 Reading: 5.5 I just cannot believe this. Writing: 7.0 Speaking: 7.0 Overall: 7.0 This test is frustrating me. If I request a remark, is there any possibility of upgrading reading to 7 which will bring my CRS to 465 |

jelmusboy:It has to be your IELTS scores. You may want to rewrite IELTS and aim for L8R7W7S7. Try to max out your IELTS points and see where that gets you. |

emiye: I see, I haven't even got Medicals passed. I was expecting it this week though based on comparisons with others in my stream. I guess it's because of the additional request. I will send documents on Monday and see what happens to medicals. |

sammyacbxyz:See, you really don't have much of a problem. You clearly have good English language skills as your scores are not exactly mediocre. I think you need a bit more work in Reading, it's something you can do. That test is full of traps to get you to falter, watch out for them and you'll be fine. You could apply for an EOR but am not sure that will help. This is because your Reading may have been already rechecked due to the wide gap between it and other scores. So, your result may be unchanged after EOR. Please don't despair,IELTS isn't out to get you. |

lavivaavril: @ lavivaavril & AZeD1 Hello, your response to NYSC experience relates to my wife's case. I would like to know how would one be able to proof payment/salary during NYSC (as i read somewhere that it should be paid work/job if it must be used). (1.) NYSC pays monthly though (i don't know if this account can be used) and hope this will not clearly show that it was NYSC/goverment paid allowances? This is putting into consideration that the company worked for during the NYSC period didnt pay any salary. What do you advice in this case? I intend to be the one to show the POF (which will be in my account). Please advice on this, thank you very much. |

arinola2:You could get your account statement from the time you were a corper. Please note that you may have to go through a longer processing time when you claim points from NYSC experience as I think it falls under government employment. A lot of people on this forum have had that issue. 1 Like 1 Share |

arinola2: I think you're meant to claim points based on the place of primary assignment as well as job role performed during that period, it's a bit tricky now that there was no salary payment from the company. Since you want to go with the alawee frm nysc, statement of account should do. I'm not sure if the fact that the payments weren't done by the company is a problem or not, others will input. 1 Like 1 Share |

Yes I think its true, but if you are not going through provincial nomination, you may not have to worry. Its a question of speed. If u need say Wes for your occupation in Canada like CPA accepts only WES ICAP ( For some internationally trained accountants) so IQAS won't fly for that purpose. My advice is find out if your province will accept it if you are going through them. Otherwise, If all that u need is this ECA to get the ITA, IQAS is faster. You can always work on registering with your professional body once you get ur PR. One step at a time temmytee1: 1 Like |

I am new. wanting to do Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) - Information system analyst & consultant (2171). where do I go from here?? Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by AZeD1(m): 2:28pm On Apr 21, 2017 |
Realphilo:It would be tricky because people who claim self employed have to show CIC documents. If you have a registered company, then you can use it but remember the company has to have been in existence for the number of years you are claiming. 2 Likes |

Bimpsy99: Hi there, I was wondering if you could make a useful contribution to this my question. I used my University of Cambridge advanced level certificate to gain direct entry admission into the University, and upon completion of my undergraduate studies, I now have two certificates: University of Cambridge advanced level certificate and BSc. Do you know if WES or IQAS would evaluate these certificates as two or more certificates? I emailed WES but they gave me a generic reply. I hope to hear from you soon. 1 Like |
