He's not base in Nigeria but will soon come back.
What can I do to prevent pregnancy.I don't want abortion.
Hubby said I should take contraceptive pills since am scared of Implanon and iud.
My mil and mum warned me not to do them.

Sorry sis..... I think we are in the same shoes. My Tommy too form different shapes courtesy of LO. I have pain down from my pelvic to my thighs , cant walk properly again. Turning on the bed is a hard job

The sitzbath bath they warned you about was the hot water / lsteam that was used before.
The one I described is warm water.... warm enough to sit in without any kind of pain.
The warm water soothes.....the feeling is heavenly when you sit on it. Once the stitches come off, the site is healed already and you only do the sitzbath to relax the muscles around there.

BS Part 1

So EDD was 13th April, and I watched it come and go but I wasn't too upset cuz I was also eyeing 20th April which is my friend's birthday. On the 13th of April at my ANC, I asked the doctor to schedule my induction date for 20th, which is a bit earlier than their 10 day policy and he agreed so I was happy.

No one in my family sha wanted to hear induction so they all came out with advice on how to induce labour. Hubby suggested we start doing evening walks and I agreed. The first and the last day we took a walk together, I made hubby walk for so long he got scared, I was leading the walk and he just didn't get how I had so much energy. He refused to go for walks again and said we would focus on stairs climbing, the first day we climbed stairs, I did so many rounds he got scared again and said no more stairs . So I was over active all through pregnancy, he was constantly banning me from doing stuff that I'd secretly do anyway, like cleaning.

On the 18th I swept and mopped the whole house then cooked jollof rice for dinner, when I was done, my baby's weight felt so low I had to crawl on all fours for the rest of the night and that night's sleep was terrible. On the 19th I respected myself and bed rested all day to recover. I was just counting down for my 20th induction date.

Mil had called on the 18th and told hubby and I to avoid going for induction, Infact she said I shouldn't go to the hospital again until my water breaks. Hubby and I said ok and after the call ended we laughed over it and I still continued my count down. Just for hubby to call me from work on the 19th saying he googled this induction thing, and it doesn't sound like a good idea and bla bla bla. He sha said that since the hospital policy for induction is 10 days, we should push up the date to 23rd and still keep trying to go into labour naturally.

I was a bit disappointed to hear that cuz I wanted 20th but I was also a bit relieved cuz I was low-key scared of induction and Didn't mind post poning the pain for 3 more days so I agreed that we would still keep our 20th appointment with the doctor but only to go and ask for 3 more days. But man proposes...

My BS part 2
Woke up on the 20th morning with an urgent urge to poo. Infact what woke me up was a contraction. I had been having contractions for so long but they were never serious, Cuz whenever I poo/pee they would disappear. Ran into the toilet thinking I was just paying the price for the mountain of Eba and vegetable soup I made hubby buy for me the previous night.

After pooing, the contractions were still there. Was chatting with my mum on whatsapp while in the toilet and she was busy preaching against induction. Had my bath and was preparing for ANC but the contractions were still there and hitting me like every 5-10 mins, wanted to time it but part of me was sure it was false as usual so I didn't. My mum called some mins later to pray against induction and while she was busy canceling all the witchcraft from the North East South and West, the contractions were getting more intense, I started getting scared i'd born at home .
The prayers finally came to an end, and we started to get ready for the hospital.

I told hubby I was in labour but he didn't believe me cuz I was still joking around. Even me didn't believe myself sef but I kinda knew these contractions were stronger and different. It was so hard to get hubby out of the house cuz he didn't feel there was an emergency, he even refused to carry the baby bags because he thought I was trying to scam him into an induction, . He said if we get to the hospital and it's labour, he would come back for the bags, so we finally left for the hospital without the bags

Serious ranting here, I didnt know twas gonna be like this, you mamas should have told me so..
Thats how I couldnt sleep all through the night till now, though i'm feeling sleepy but the pain just couldnt let me...thank God i had a nap yesterday afternoon.

I have been experiencing serious cramps that last up to aminute, all round my waist line(both front and back) within 5-6 minutes interval, discharging mucus plug and poo-ing anyhow, I don't even know the number of times.

is this real labour or child's play?
