WambyDiapers: To all the Mums interested in Reusable diapers, we manufacture and sell Reusable Diapers. Each one can absorb for a minimum of 4 hours and no leaks. For going out o, for sleeping at night o, it works wonderfully.
Each one can last you easily for 2 children and over 2 and a half years. It is adjustable for ages newborn to toddler as well.
You get the quality you pay for, easily. Many Mums can testify to our product being very absorbent and easy to wash, no need to soak or use bleach. You can wash in washing machine and it will come out clean! We also sell accessories to make it easy for you to use.
No need to be changing and washing every 1 hour and you can sleep in ours. We sell Quality and a great brand Doctors from hospitals like Lagos Island Maternity, Emel and Lifeline and many more hospitals can tell you they trust our brand
( some of our Mummies here use them and we know one Mummy who is pregnant and has used them for her first baby and not bought disposable in well over 6 months. She has been feeling fly and is trying to sell off her imported Huggies cartons she bought in the US and we tell her "ntooorrr ". She is also packing half for her 2nd baby).
But urz is expensive, where does one get a wobbing sum of 90something thousand for diapers in this economy... No offense meant though. 1 Like 2 Shares |

From the pics sef, you can see the quality. These ones will last for even the next baby to use. I feel even like 8 or so of hers can serve a baby for the entire two years the baby will wear diaper. I stand to be corrected. And probably a mother can start with a few. Good thing sha...na money. If I have money, I will start stocking up on fine and quality diapers like this. Make quality no decrease later when it becomes more common 10 Likes 1 Share |

I deal in products that were designed to match quality diapers to be found in the US and UK. I can only speak to performance. I have learned the hard way that it is better to buy a product that performs excellently. I have also learnt there are very few economists in Nigeria. I grew up with economists so my thinking is different. I shall share a story: if anyone of us knows Oniru, they know that New Market is walking distance from Ebeanor supermarket. I went to new market, paid N200 parking in an untarred parking lot to touts, hit the bottom of my car on high slope, crossed a busy street (hoping not to get hit by keke), trekked into stores until I found Blue Band margarine, the shop owner was rude (because she said she was tired from answering questions from non-buyers), gave me price of N350 after I haggle and haggled. I paid and left after hiring a porter to carry my goods. I went to Ebeano supermarket, parked comfortably, paid nothing for parking, strolled into a/c environment and decided to check the price of Blue band margarine. Our products, a minimum of 4 hours absorption for any of them. I cannot use a diaper that I change every hour (I need a product that works well, my life is not to be spent changing diapers every hour and mopping up after a baby). Your baby will sleep in that diaper. Your baby will wear that diaper from 3 months to 24 months and you will use it for 2 or more kids. You will not have to buy disposables for nighttime or going out. You can use it for other uses. There is no way you want top performance and to buy quality for cheap. It is False Economy. Medela Harmony breastpump cannot work the same way as a Chinese manual breastpump. it was our motto "A quality Nigerian Product for a Nigerian Child". It must be quality at a good price. It must be seen in public and not as an inferior product. It must perform to excellent standards or I do not want my name involved in it. We would not have the people supporting us if we sold you something that doesn't work the way it is priced. If I give you N3800, I expect it to perform around the quality of N5000. There are diapers out there for N1000, I believe LordReed tried some let him share his experience. By the way, we always tell our Mums to buy slowly, starting from when you first get pregnant to final time of birth. Stagger your purchases, so you are not dropping a large sum immediately. If you calculate Molfix, you will smack yourself for thinking N90, 000 for a year and a half of diapering was expensive. Plus that N90, 000 is for 2 or 3 children. We showed many disposables to nurses and Dr's and they all said the companies had dropped their quality of their goods but increased the prices. But customers kept buying, ignorantly. Yes, those companies spend more on marketing and less on quality goods. We do sales. We do giveaways. Once in a while we randomly select from our customers and send them free gift. We do Customer service. We write a handwritten thank-you note with every single sale (some of those notes came from a 70 year old grandma who took her time to wish our customer well). We add free samples of diaper cream to some sales . We are not inflating prices for our products or we would only be in highbrow shops. We are offering a QUALITY product so your baby gets treated like a King/Queen. That is what we are, that is what we do. Benignasweety: But urz is expensive, where does one get a wobbing sum of 90something thousand for diapers in this economy... No offense meant though. I will be very suspicious if reusable diapers are very cheap. You get what you pay for. Both in terms of longevity, containment, fit and absorbency. If you read the comparison below that was made 1 year of molfix is more expensive than 24 cloth diapers with accessories. . Also bear in mind that your baby will use the same diapers till they are potty trained and then hand it down to a junior sibling or two. Not everyone has the money to buy a full time diaper stash in one go, so you buy in bits. Or if you are pregnant you can add it to your gift list. We have all had friends and family ask what can i buy you for the baby, and people instinctively buy nappies and wipes. Rather than your very generous sister or friend buy you N12,000 huggies pack. they can buy you 3 or or 4 diapers / accessories. All na strategy! Team fluff all the way for me! eksbabe: What's the bamboo and hemp used for? And how many inserts will one need per day for one baby? Bamboo and Hemp and Cotton are all inserts. Absorbency and fit is what separates them. Cotton is very thick and absorbent (gives about 4-6 hours of wear), Bamboo is very light and absorbent (3 to 4 hours of wear), Hemp is also slim and absorbent (5 to 7 hours of wear). These options are dependent on you. Some mums like the Bamboo and hemp when they go out because they are slim. Our grandmother likes the cotton for long naps and overnight. I usually add Cotton and Bamboo all night, no leaks. Cotton and Hemp will go for 12 hours (the Mac-Daddy of Absorbency). Inserts depend on how many times your baby wees and poos every day. If you have 3 covers, for different ages of babies, about 6 to 8 inserts for 3 month old babies (I am adding poop), 5 inserts for 7 month old babies (more poop), 3 or 4 inserts for toddler (they are learning how to control their bladders and are getting potty trained so less pee and if you get them to the potty on time, no poop). Please remember, I change my baby a lot. I tend to go with my paediatrician (who told me newborns should be changed upto 10-12 diapers and sometimes he uses the number of diaper changes to gauge how well a newborn baby is drinking milk). If your baby wees a lot or is pooing a lot, you will need more (same as disposables, you should not leave any baby younger than a year in only 3 diapers daily. That is why so many people use Desitin, Sudocrem and Baby Tribotan: rashes! Resuable Cloth nappies need only ori or coconut oil for diaper cream, just to moisturise the area because of the constant wetness can dry it out. So additional savings!). The good thing about reusable diapers, if they like, wee 20 times a day I will change it peacefully. No crying about the price. that is what makes Disposables so expensive.
