Good morning all
I have a honda accord 2002 in great conditions as I don't spare expenses in maintaining it. Just about a day ago from the date of this post. The D4 light came on and it is still on. Read through most topic that are related but have not really seen one that relates to mine. I am open to suggestions from gurus and anyone who has solution to this issue.

Your D4 light has no gud reason to blink. If it blinks that means there is an issue. I use the same model of ur car....

R u saying prior to this ur d4 light has not been showing at all even wen u are driving? Does ur reverse signal come up? Normally ur d4 light should come on when ur car is in drive position. It only becomes a problem when it starts blinking or stays on even when the car is in reverse.

in my opinion, it looked like electrical problem preventing the light from coming up and now it corrected itself and the light comes up.

When in R, the D4 light is still on

When driving, the D4 light stay on as normal and all other lights are off but when in any other gear, the D4 light stays on.

Before this incidence, all was normal as in when gear in D4 all light all other lights are off likewise when in R or any other gear, all other lights stay off too.

Since I noticed the above, I stopped driving the car and to my supprise after some day I started the car and the D4 light was off but the maintenance required light flashed and went off. On putting the car in gear, the D4 light came on and stayed again. Am just wondering, should I just change transmission fluid as it has being quiet some time now even though I don't really drive that much.

Please also not that I just service my car too.

Still waiting on the gurus.
