nice one. The only professional military organization we have in Nigeria. Serious and focused at their mission. meanwhile Nigeria Army checkpoints along Lagos to Sagamu express should be monitored. We spent more than two hours on hold up around eleven PM yesterday night only to find the 3 army checkpoints created the artificial hold up because of the bribes they are collecting |

Spuggie: That's because u av none to give. You kids just come online and speak crap, cos MTN gave u free 10MB. You are obviously unaware of ur own ignorance. Better use ur free mb for reading wide. Read more about the capabilities, research and industry of Nigeria military then u will know what we are. |

papaejima1:Nigeria should have employed all the military engineers that worked for the defunct rogue state Biafra. We should have built on the successes achieved, especially during the time of Gowon when Nigeria had "too much" money,by now we'd probably be manufacturing BVR and fuel propelled missiles. But at least,we are getting somewhere with the current drive. 1 Like |

EVarn:Believe me bro, there is no drive! With the budget for military R&, we can even poach or steal/attract competent foreign engineers amd technicians who can bring in the much needed expertise and leap frog nation into the modern age. Imagine a scenario where overseas secondary school students are using advanced equipment to analyse the compositions of foodstuffs and sequencing DNA while in Nigeria we are drawing butterflies and grasshoppers. Same thing in every sector of this nation. Quota system won't allow innovation and drive. |

papaejima1:Mismanagement and refusal to bring in technocrats and allow them to work without political interference has stifled Nigeria for so long. Nigeria should have foreign military bases with strategic hardwares positioned all over Africa and have economic treaties with other African nations by now,if we had managed our political system well since 1960.We should be challanging US/France dominance in Africa by now!. 1 Like |
