Ishilove: In other words, he's saying a Masters degree holder doesn't deserve more than N1000 a day or betterstill $2. It's an insult to educated Nigerians, especially those who are searching for jobs. There's something wrong with his thinking faculty. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I hope the people cursing will not go back to apply later. To the aggrieved posters ;the world does not owe you anything. Not everyone will have a high paying first job. If you feel it is predatory, you can keep sitting at home. 1 Like |

oyb: It's better for job seekers to sit at home and keep eyeing better opportunities than to accept a 30k job for a masters degree holder. Even bus conductors earn more. If you think it's a good idea, then recommend it to your own people or take the job. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ishilove: then they should ignore it and move along. the op may be successfully trolling as i have never heard of masters degree in peace building and conflict resolution. the title of the job is office manager, the description is handling social media. it doesnt even come across as a full time job. demands for advanced degrees for what are job [job not career] positions are a symptom of the glut of unemployed. it is now a buyer's market., and employers can make the most ridiculous demands sometimes you have to focus. grit your teeth and go for the low paying job if you know it will provide you with experience. it is better than sitting at home. some people get their break on leaving school, some wait for years. but no one is doing himself or herself any favours saying i am too big for this or that job. two years ago, we overseeing a construction project. there was a youth corper attached to the contractor we were supervising. very dedicated guy. when we had issues, he would go out of his way to get them solved. even using his own money. he was not paid well, but he had spirit. the project ended and we need a guy, and i thought of him immediately. this in spite of the fact that his employer had pissed us off to the maximum. he was with us for two projects after that, for two years, earning three times what he was paid at his employer. if he had the mentality of the wailers here, he would have also felt too big to take the first job. beeolhar: beeolhar: it is clear you are the sort of empty headed saft eejit who actually takes job vacancies posted on nairaland [just one step above the those text scams where you are told you have been shortlisted] seriously. you got a job invite and rather than go to google, yo ran to nairaland. even worse, you were not sure because their head office is in yaba. continue sitting at home and chasing meaningless certifications you are the same joker looking for masters in sociology, loking at a 45k teaching job, certificate in public relations beeolhar: a quick perusal of your posts shows you're the sort of empty headed dilettante who must already have called, mailed and whatsapped the op. what business value do you think a masters in sociology has these is exactly the sort of entitled joker i was referring to. 2 Likes 1 Share |
