Hello all, happy Sunday, Please I need your kind suggestions on these issues; I previously was on EE pool, but my profile got expire after a year. Now I want to enter the pool again, and was ask about my previous file number. My questions are; 1. Which is the file number? Is it the one starting with E....i.e EE reference number? 2.How do I link this new EE profile to my newly reactivated JOB BANK account? 3.Any risk quoting my previous UCI no,as required in the new EE profile? Thanks,as I look forward to your various opinions. |

yimiton: Hello i am also a Regulatory compliance officer. I however noticed that under the 2016 NOC they have included compliance officers under 1122. But 2011 NOC is what is in use by CIC and it not in 2011.I however choose other financial officers . Note by 2016 and 2011 i mean year. |

Elixir123: *Modified Not likely. You may be better off with WES if you want it evaluated as "2 or more certificates.." and you are not so much in a hurry. Check Bimpsy99 posts. 1 Like |

I suggest he gets an Affidavit saying both names are the same person, if birth certificate has same name it can also be attached and an LOE saying it's an abbreviated name he used. Pls note that his USA visa denial should be declared even though he is not using the passport veleta: |

You click on the person's name and click on send email, the person will need to confirm before emails can be sent. I suggest he share your concerns on the thread to get assistance readily Morbolar: |

@Slowlybtsurely,thanks for your response. Ifeanyi was the name he used for his old passport which he used for US visa but was denied. All his documents now bear Ifeanyichukwu including the new passport cos he had to change his name with NIS. Won't it be seen as misrepresentation since he applied for US visa with Ifeanyi knowing that US and Canada share Immigration information. Thank you once again |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by veleta: 3:58pm On Apr 23, 2017 |
@Jenny,thanks slot. His school made that mistake of Ifeanyichukwu in his B. SC instead of Ifeanyi, he had to get NPC birth certificate with an affidavit so, his birth certificate bears Ifeanyichukwu. As it stands now,he doesn't have any document bearing Ifeanyi except the old passport he used in applying for US visa and of course the passport was collected by NIS and a new one issued. |

@matildatee sehawale: You can print the standard fingerprint form on A4 paper but make sure the fingerprints impressions are done by a certified personnel. You can do it at Alagbon Lagos. Current processing time is 12-14 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery. It can take forever to get to Nigeria, so I would advise you to use a US return address, if you know anybody in the US. Check the link below for the forms and procedures. https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks Zany. 1 Like |

perks: Thanks perks I actually followed the instructions, I added my month code(2digits) then d two digits from my passport number(last two) and then the centre code, it automatically should the account name; British Council. Then am to add my refrence code and name on a separate column. I get the instructions. I just want to be double sure that am doing the right thing or better still someone who has done it that same confirms it that its right nd safe. Anyone who has used that method can kindly comment, I will appreciate it. Thanks perks once more! |

Please my E- family, I need your input in this. This is the explanation I intend to use, hope it will fly. The certificate issued to me at birth by the hospital bears Master Ifeanyi. The first ECOWAS passport issued to me also bears Ifeanyi. I applied to the United States Embassy to attend a scientific conference in Nevada in March 2016 with this passport. However, thereafter, I noticed that my university certificate bears Ifeanyichukwu. Ifeanyi is the abbreviated form of Ifeanyichukwu. As a result, I followed the due process to harmonize the names on my birth certificate, university degree certificate and my ECOWAS passport. Do I need to get an affidavit and a newspaper publication? Please don't jump and pass. Thanks for your response so far |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 7:56pm On Apr 23, 2017 |
Kathyjex: Since you are not claiming points through him, I strongly believe that it should be a NO. You may need to mention it in LOE that since your spouse has no Canadian work experience, you have added all his foreign work (i.e.non-Canadian) experience to his personal history. NOTE Please get a second opinion on this before you proceed. What I wrote up there is what I would have done if confronted with a similar situation since a YES may require obtaining reference letters and other supporting documents that may not be readily available. All the best. |

perks: Senior officers are rare to find. Go to the office and talk to someone there. I have a contact in Ikoyi but he is not anywhere near the position of officer or senior officer. Let's simply call him an almost 10years hustler there, and he works well for me and my family, so far. I don't think I want to share his contact with you. I will just advise you go to the place and talk to people there. I don't know why this paper thing is still occurring. Nigerian forces are really out to fustrate every move. Anyway, "For quick result, you play by game rules. when you are in Ghana, you behave like a Ghanian. Now that you are Nigeria, behave like a Nigerian." |

Evaluate just your masters. Send a mail and tweet to wes requesting them to evaluate just your MBA. That worked for my spouse. eedris03: |

Do a same person affidavit. Don't mention that you noticed that your university certificate bears another name other than what is supposed to be there. It sounds lame. I think you should just do a newspaper publication with the same person affidavit veleta: |

Hello Guys..... Happy Sunday. I just tried the express entry application and my score was 406 . Pls what are my chances of getting into the pool ? it says I meet the minimum requirements but my application will be reviewed and i will be contacted on their decision. Should I wait on this or what can I do to improve my chances? Does the NOC section really count cos I'm not sure I filled that part well. what's the most important things to look out for. I'm 30 with a Masters degree and about 8 years work experience. pls I really need the adequate info. I'm still trying to get a hang of this forum. Thank you |

SlowlybtSurely:I and my spouse are having a similar situation. Some of our documents like degree certificates bear the abridged version of our native names while our passport bears the full version. What I plan to do is get an affidavit of name correction from a federal high Court and also supporting with a LOE. Is this move sufficient? |

QuantumK: I suggest u read page 0 and digest it properly before filling your EE profile. As for NOC, u cannot afford to choose a wrong NOC code as u will be denied and banned for 5years if ur experience/reference letter turns out to be inconsistent with the chosen NOC code. 2 Likes |
