greetings to everyone in the forum, my wife is a nurse and we applied applied for a Student visa for her to do nursing in Australia 2 weeks ago. we got an email on Thursday morning from the student visa processing center asking her to send evidence of her relationship with the sponsor, in the form of her birth certificates, her mum's, and the sponsor's.

PLEASE, my question is : 1> within how many days are we usually expected to send the notarized copies? becos the sponsor will be back in town on Monday or Tuesday becos he is out of town on a business trip. 2> Can the NATIONAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE be used for her and her mother? ( sponsor is mother's relation.) and Finally, Whats our chances of success if they are provided? PLEASE I NEED EXPIRIENCED RESPONSES FROM OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS HERE.

I have friends in Charles dawning and Flinders who got there without ielts many of them. But its good to write it anyways so as to be on safer side. its gonna be of help when you get there for other purposes. I might give it a try as well, I didn't wanna write it initially.
@Tobe4real Most schools require IELTS for their nursing programs. Some of them even require as high as 7.0 in each section of ur IELTS. If d school requires u 2 present ur IELTS result and u don't, u'd b required to pay abt 4000aud for an English program when u get 2 Australia.

You will need to run either a graduate diploma or graduate certificate course to make up the six months, but I will advise you to do a two years course to avoid drama..my mate here is facing the same issue at the moment. he is studying international business (1.5 years)at the moment, at the beginning of our journey here in Australia, we advised him to switch to a two year course for post study visa eligibility but he refused...others changed to better courses on SOL list when it was flexible but he didn't, now he's regretting everything with no game plan on what to do next..now, is eirher he goes for another course or go back to Nigeria

Have you got an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering? If yes, you can apply for permanent residency straightaway.

There's another thread on this:
https://www.nairaland.com/3053069/general-guide-australian-permanent-resident

And even if you still want to study, you get to pay cheaper fees versus what you'd pay as an international student.

You can switch to another program in the same school or a different one ones you are almost done with the course that brought you to Australia, and then extend your visa...your visa clause allows you to stay further in the country on the bases of "further studies"..but do this one month before your visa expires.

No and Yes.

Engineers can get assessed based solely on undergraduate project work. Just engineers though; and quite a number of people have received positive assessment this way.

If you are anywhere close to Lokoja, hit me up for materials. Listening is the easiest part of that exam.

Scored 8.0 in listening

Timmypaul:
You should be able to make use of that the score is fair that should be 6.0 in all bands. pls tell me bout the listening how was it have been practising but I haven't got to see anything on listen. I want to know how you went bout answering d listening.
