Price increase in May 2016 is as a result of the rumor of the New Flexible Exchange Rate by CBN later unveiled in June 2016.

I doubt if we can have the same type of sharp increase this year but I hope we can get a decent 20%.

...It could probably be. But for now, people are interested in taking profit from their gains. If it's pullback, my target will be 0.81 - 0.86 region

to those that went to bid and buy junk transcorp at 1.06 after reading posts on this thread. With all the quality stocks on the market, how some people will be filling their portfolios with junk and negative EPS baffles me.

That should even make you to invest more cash in fcmb.
If diamond moves,fcmb will skyrocket.
For now,both of them has no comparism.

Sometimes, you may need to do your independent research on stocks. What are your basis for comparison and arrival at your conclusion?

Many times, we don't study companies' results, we just take peoples' opinions about the result and run with it.

Take sometime and study Diamond's and FCMB'S Q3 2016 results.

Now the offers are turning up,it has become junk.

Put a crown on its head for a day, dress it in fine robes for a minute, a chicken will always remain a chicken. Transcorp, Diamond and Oando are junk. Their books say so not me. Just because a few people come around and bid them up for a week so they can later dump on some ignorant pigs doesn't change their status as junk.

I doubt you looked at the entire result. While the PAT and EPS are very important components of a company's result, they are not all there is to a company's result. Those multiple pages(some over 100pages) in the Annual Reports of companies contain loads of information.

...I do understand what you mean indirectly with people entering at 1.06; but for whatever reason(s) after that impressive move, I don't think Transcorp fits into that junk status anymore.

...I mentioned the stock has potential to get to 2.14 (and above with good fundamentals), but Mr Market has the final say on this but did not mention "soon". Kindly quote me correctly.
