Coolcash1:...It could probably be. But for now, people are interested in taking profit from their gains. If it's pullback, my target will be 0.81 - 0.86 region 1 Like |

to those that went to bid and buy junk transcorp at 1.06 after reading posts on this thread. With all the quality stocks on the market, how some people will be filling their portfolios with junk and negative EPS baffles me. 1 Like |

locodemy: Sometimes, you may need to do your independent research on stocks. What are your basis for comparison and arrival at your conclusion? Many times, we don't study companies' results, we just take peoples' opinions about the result and run with it. Take sometime and study Diamond's and FCMB'S Q3 2016 results. Disclosure:- I have both in my portfolio. PS:- This post is not intended to antagonize anyone. I needed to add this so that its intent wouldn't be misread, coming after locodemy's last post. In fact, I had made the post before I saw his last post in question. Peace |

duni04:You call a stock that gives over 45% appreciation within 1 week "JUNK"? I will be more than interested to get more when it completes its pullback... 3 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 2:53pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
duni04: Why didnt you call it a junk stock all these while it has been on bid? Now the offers are turning up,it has become junk. I have been reading/watching your posts.I dont think you invest in stocks.Look like you are a market watcher. Note:if you notice anything in a stock, dont hesitate to say it out before it is late. 2 Likes |

BullBearMkt:Was actually referring to people that went to bid at 1.06 after reading posts on this thread, especially the one you made about Transcorp hitting 2.14 soon. And yea judging by the FY 2016, Transcorp aptly fits into the junk status |

locodemy:Put a crown on its head for a day, dress it in fine robes for a minute, a chicken will always remain a chicken. Transcorp, Diamond and Oando are junk. Their books say so not me. Just because a few people come around and bid them up for a week so they can later dump on some ignorant pigs doesn't change their status as junk. 7 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chillykelly86(m): 3:06pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
duni04: I doubt you looked at the entire result. While the PAT and EPS are very important components of a company's result, they are not all there is to a company's result. Those multiple pages(some over 100pages) in the Annual Reports of companies contain loads of information. |

duni04:...I do understand what you mean indirectly with people entering at 1.06; but for whatever reason(s) after that impressive move, I don't think Transcorp fits into that junk status anymore. ...I mentioned the stock has potential to get to 2.14 (and above with good fundamentals), but Mr Market has the final say on this but did not mention "soon". Kindly quote me correctly. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chillykelly86(m): 3:08pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
duni04: Only Oando may qualify as junk from your list. You can mark this post for reference purposes in 2 years or less. |
