Well...I dont think so.I applied for both positions cos I have experience on supply chain and also qualify for Rand D as a mechanical engineering graduate.I got the invitation for the online games for both, apparently after completing the game, tmy application was merged together even though I was invited for the video games on Sc and RD.But i choose the link to SC video interview which I completed and got the general congratulatory msg.Still awaiting the next step...So I really do not think u can be disqualified for that,if u skill matches what they are looking for...am sure you will be contacted.

You could get disqualified i believe...just apply for the one you are better suited for

What is happening ooo

Am I the only one that is yet to get a mail from Unilever?

After the video interview, I didn't get any mail from them. I checked my account on their site, it is only 3 mails there not 4 like others. undecided

5days more to d deadline...
Re: Unilever Future Leaders Programme 2017 by kaka22(m): 1:18pm On Apr 25, 2017
My view on the feedback gotten so far;

Excellent evidence - Invitation to next level is sure

Competent evidence - Invitation to next level is dependent on the number of people that got excellent evidence mail and the number of people they want for the next stage.

Mixed evidence - Regret mail is sure.

No feedback - Be patient. They will get back to you. They are probably overwhelmed with a lot of applications now.

Disclaimer- The view above represents my own not necessarily the decision of Unilever's recruitment team.

Feedback

Judgement - Big picture thinking, analysis & decision making and change & innovation
You provided excellent evidence against ‘big picture thinking’, you thought about the wider implications of your ideas and suggestions and it was clear that you seek to maximize benefits. You demonstrated that you could work effectively with different teams across Unilever and you started to think about how you could achieve savings. You demonstrated that you were committed and supportive to Unilever’s wider vision and goals and that you take account of these aims in your answers. You could improve further by thinking about how you could support others to develop their ‘big picture thinking’ skills. You did start to think about the different efficiencies that could be achieved when implementing large projects (i.e. savings in resource, time, project costs etc.) and how you might involve others in these types of tasks.

You also demonstrated that you assimilate and analyze information effectively and objectively to make informed decisions quickly. Your answers indicate that you are able to actively seek and identify information that is useful and that you can identify trends, inconsistencies and risks. You provided some evidence to suggest that you think about how to encourage others to be objective and make use of data so that efficiencies can be achieved. You also thought about how you would present the full rationale behind your ideas / solutions in a convincing manner (especially when working with more senior individuals).

You provided excellent evidence against the area – change and innovation. Overall it is clear that you are positive about change and you identify opportunities for better ways of working. You considered some of the impact that change can have on others and thought about some of the practical implications of making your ideas a reality. You also thought about how you would motivate and encourage others to generate creative ideas but could improve further by thinking about how you would address resistance to new ideas or new ways of working.

Drive - Drive to succeed, accelerating business growth and consumer needs
You demonstrated an excellent understanding of Unilever and how your values and strengths match to the requirements of the Future Leaders Programme. It is clear that you are motivated by the prospect of a challenging role and you are prepared to drive your own career and development. You provided some evidence that you had thought about how to build relationships across the business to overcome challenges and create long term partnerships.

You provided positive evidence against working effectively to accelerate business growth. For example, it is clear that you adopt a structured and logical approach to work, from planning to delivery. It is also clear that you produce high quality results and that quality is important to you. You also provided strong evidence against prioritising tasks and dealt with these effectively under pressure. You demonstrated that you could multi-task in order to achieve more in tight time-scales.

It is clear that you are concerned with consumer needs and will work hard to define and meet those needs. It is also clear that you will manage expectations and build effective partnerships in order to provide a high quality service. You thought about how you would increase consumer satisfaction and what would consumers like to see more of. However, you could improve further by thinking about how you would pre-empt any challenges or issues in order to put solutions in place before they become a problem.

Influence - Inspirational leadership, influencing skills and learning agility
Overall, you demonstrated excellent evidence against the ability to communicate effectively and influence others. It is clear that you will work collaboratively and effectively with a wide-range of people and that you are proactive in supporting others. You provided evidence that you could lead a team and work closely with other partners across Unilever. You also provided evidence that you would give others support, guidance and mentoring when leading them as part of a team. You also provided some positive evidence about how you would lead people during challenging situations or disagreements. You thought about ways of involving others to ensure everyone is listened to and it was clear that you would encourage everyone to contribute to a discussion.

Kind Regards,

After the video interview, how long did you wait before you got the feedback that it is under review? Was it immediately?

Hmmmm
I don't agree with your analysis except for that of mixed evidence since a regret mail have been proven to be the next thing for it..

I have read of people who got excellent feedbacks but were turned down due to "availability of too much qualified applicants" of which some did not have the "excellent evidence" feedback...

We don't know how this system works, you can only know if u r on the inside.. My opinion, all these speculations are not healthy so please let's stop worrying, just pray, wait and see... #thedeadlineisnear

No matter how much u speculate u can't change the outcome, we will only trouble ourselves and when the time comes and we are called we will then find out that we ain't ready emotionally because of the emotional roller Costa we have put ourselves in... And this is worst frame of mind u can be in while prepping for AC or DC

I love your way of thinking. My dear whether you got excellent or good, mixed or competent, positive or pass... as long as you've not gotten any regret mail. Don't worry yourself too much. Stay calm, have some fun and believe with prayer. It's possible that the video interview won't even really play a reasonable role in the invitation for assessment day.

They might choose to use the test scores from the game results. After all, it was stated that we may be asked to retake the test in their presence. So these guys don't expect us to be perfect abeg. They want to train us and they simply want to know if we meet the minimum requirements before we can be selected.

In your feedback mail after video interview, I believe that if you saw the phrase... "...match to the requirements of the future leaders program" in your email. You've passed that video interview and you just need to be patient.

Just believe! Stay sharp, have fun and don't put your mind into the outcome of this thing. I love Unilever. I want to be among The Future Leaders of the company, but I don't think it's the end of the world if they don't choose me(I strongly believe otherwise though).

All of you are worried for nothing. Those feedbacks are automated mails. I have seen someone here with the same feedback as mine. The less you think about Unilever the better for you. If at the end you get a success mail.... Congrats in advance. If at the end you get a regret mail... Dust your CV and keep applying.

Happy waiting for feedback guys and ladies
