It is no excuse to approve jungle justice. Of course the first human instinct is to want revenge but you cannot substitute that with a lawful means of solving anything. Falling prey to are base instincts will only result in the kind of society Nigeria has evolved into. A beastly, maniacal society where anything goes and where might is for some reason always right.
I pray this kind of thing will not happen to any of ur relatives. That is y u talked like that.

And did i not say the first instinct would be to seek revenge? It is the normal reaction. But, that does not mean you must act on it. It is because Nigeria is not a functioning society which is why you are talking like that. Go to the U.S, Germany, France, etc, and lynch a person who committed a crime and see if you will not spend the rest of your days in jail. They understand that they cannot allow their society to disintegrate into the kind of society Nigeria has become. An unsafe, insane, bloodthirsty society.

this looks more like an execution scene than a robbery scene, so stealing ain't enough for them nomore, now they have to end ones life also?? and to say I do have pity for this criminals when caught and dealt a horrible death all cuz I feel they still humans after all, this ones ain't humans and they should be well prepared for the illfate awaiting them soon, rest in peace to the dead.

As expected, the moment the Abuja airport was reopened, the criminal elements in the force must have notified them that the coast is clear.

Agreed. But just because the agency responsible for maintaining law and order is non existent does not mean you should destroy yourselves because that is exactly what you are doing. Nigerians do not understand the power of the individual citizen. No one wants to take responsibility (including me which is why i bounced out of that zoo) for the change that they want. To effect any change involves forcefulness. The only way to change the way Nigeria is at the moment will have to involve bloodshed. There is no way to avoid it. Nigeria is too corrupt for normal diplomacy in order to effect change. It has to happen. If not, it will always be like this and much much worse.

That is why it is called a zoo, l will rather say it is a jungle because in a zoo where animals are kept there is orderliness, lions, tigers, leopards, donkeys, giraffes, antelopes are kept in different cages but here in Nigeria it is a confused, disorganized and chaotic environment, a place where you can drop dead at any second, the killers will go free or bribe their way from prosecution, just imagine what happened to these guys who left home to go and look for their daily bread to be killed by wicked monsters, and what you see their is replicate all over the country and one useless wicked politician is hiding millions of Dollars in the same country, the money that should have been used to upgrade security network across the country is swallowed by one single politician, and someone said the other day that if you want to know how hell looks like, go and live in Nigeria, l agree , nonsense sad embarassed

You are absolutely right.
Life is worthless in nigeria. Nothing is working well.

But the worse part is that this is second time a former head of state became president and still fail woefully.

APC should cover their face for the shame they brought the country into.

Spot on, l doubt if things will ever change without a forceful reaction from the populace, l have heard about the same story since l was born before l also vamoosed and left that hell of a country, you cant do the same thing all the time and expect a better result, if a drastic change has to evolve in Nigeria, it must go with the way you put it because we have wicked leaders who have taken the country for granted and only a drastic revolution will cleanse the land of all the bastards who have crippled the country, and yet we see different posters celebrating the same wicked leaders that has held them in darkness for long, read through Nairaland , once a crime is committed , people respond based on where the man comes from, instead of standing in unison to condemn evil we bring ethnic coloration to it. What a country sad

nicely said, you are this calm bout the whole scenario cuz u r no longer in the system, and yes only bloodshed will JumpStart this country, but who wanna lead? revolution is alien to an average Nigerian,we are now so selfish we don't give a hoot about our next neighbour, no collective goals,no unity,no love no basic wants, we developed our adaptive nature as humans to the maximum, hence we catch whatever they dish out to us,silently mumbling and grumbling our displeasure, and sadly its gonna stay this way for a very long time.

You have just hit the head on the nail. Or is it the other way around. Anyway, i digress. From the bold comment you made, one can come to the conclusion that Nigeria's problem is not it's leader but it's citizens. Leaders will not exist without the support of the citizenry. Citizen elect their leaders and sustain them with their support. The citizenry is the life blood of leaders and without their support the die of. The citizens of any country, good or bad, deserve whatever leadership they have.

Personally, l dont do party politics, both APC and is predecessor PDP and other useless political parties we have had from 1979 till date , the likes of NPN, UPN, PRP, GNPP, NAP, NPP etc all contributed to bringing the country to where it is today, tell me one single thing we have enjoyed as a nation, the basic infrastructures that means nothing to smaller countries within Africa is a big luxury in Nigeria, we produce crude oil but most of the earnings goes to private pockets, 43 Million Dollars found lying in a flat in ikoyi while millions are dying daily because of poverty, today , your former first lady was told she can collect her 5.9 Million Dollars from the bank, tell me , what kind of work she did to accumulate that kind of money, and the list goes on, we need good governance and if it is a LION from the forest that will deliver the change so be it but with the present bunch of criminals l see in the political space in Nigeria l doubt if things will change, maybe in the next world not this current dispensation sad
