Oasis007: Yea, the Toons are back where they belong. Benitez won my respect by staying with them when he had an option of activating the relegation clause and walk away. He did good with his signings: Ritchie, Gayle (both had 35 goals in between) with Jonjo piloting the midfield. I am sure he would attract more class to the EPL and possibly push towards 6th position making the EPL more competitive. Would be missing their fierce derby with Sunderland though. I'm hoping Leads makes it to the play-offs and wins it, them or Sheffield Wednesday. |

elrony: Oh my Bad. IMO, na only one Gianluigi dey - any other one na impostor. If we would be looking to replace DDG , it shouldn't be with an 18year old kid - as our 1st choice goalie, he would have to adjust to a new environment, Climate, culture etc immediately. Truth is - as good as he seems to be, he is still a "local champion" in Italy. |
