lavivaavril: I don't think it will be wise to use a general LOE to cover all issues. So my advice is use a separate LOE for each category u need to upload docs. 2 Likes |

Hello Gurus in the house Please I do like to inquire about these aspects of the application process. I intend to relocate to US in May since my current job is not sufficient anymore. As I will be staying there for an unforeseeable long time. Although, my CRS score is at the moment at a tentative 380. I intend searching for PNP whilst retaking the IELTS exams. My questions are: 1. How will I do the post ITA, the police report and medicals and work reference letter since I will be using my work experience in Nigeria. 2. My NOC is type C but the supervisor position is type B. Should I use the NOC code for supervisor instead? Or does any one knows the NOC for Aviation sector Should I wait to get to the US before applying? Your suggestions pls. |

NOC skill level B requires a college diploma or trained as an apprentice to do the job. My questions are Do CIC recognize local appprentice training which is supported with trade cert. e.g. dressmaker Do pre-qualification work experience count?( worked for some years before getting a qualification to back up the work experience ) |

Pls advise me: Before I got married, I had an international passport that I used to travel once to india. Later I was denied U.K. Visa on this same passport. Then I got married and did change of name to husbands last name. I also got a new passport that bears my new married name. My old passport was never returned to me (the immigration officer later said it was lost) after I used it to apply for new one with a new name. Now in our eAPR, should we choose yes to "have you been denied visa to any country "? I'm confused because I don't even have the old passport (in my pre-marriage name) anymore. I know if I put yes, I might be required to upload the old passport and the only travel history (india trip) in it. Please let me know what you think. Note that I have traveled a lot on my new passport and been never been denied visa. |

codebrew85: Please visit IQAS website for detailed information. You can use Google to search "IQAS", it should take you to their website. Use the "Search" tool at the top of this page; IQAS has been discussed extensively on this thread. 1 Like |

Declare that you are denied. It won't require you to upload the lost passport and in your travel history, put the India trip Ladobet: 2 Likes |

Ladobet:Sorry about Ur predicament. I understand how confused you are right now over this. You are getting the temptation of concealing information about your previous UK visa denial because if do not mention your old passport it's possible CIC will remain oblivious of this. I will rather advise strongly against this as you do not know how CIC does their PR visa verification. Remember you will supply every information about your recent adult life in other parts of d eAPR and I'm almost certain UK will keep records of your visa denial. If they happen to share this information with CIC you don't only risk a rejection but an outright ban from Canada. Left to me u should be honest about your refusal. Get a declaration or an affidavit to validate your claim of losing the old passport. The lawyers in d house can also assist here in telling u d right type of document to go for. Attach a LOE and any documents to show why you were denied d visa even if it's an old email.... anything at all u can find. They won't reject u simply because u were refused visa by UK but if u misrepresent u will be banned for 5 years! Keep calm, your Canada dream is still on track. All d best! 1 Like |

debbiejosh:Please one more question, do you have an idea how they confirm companies without websites or anything to trace them. Just a general gmail address and office address. Or are they fine with the supervisors contact in the reference letter? How do they believe/confirm these companies without websites/Linkedin profiles or any internet presence atall? Does anyone have idea. Predecessors please get in here. |

biggie1o2: In response to ur questions 1. Getting a police report in Nigeria from d US is not a big deal. Someone can do it for u in alagbon. For medical, there are designated hospitals in the US(check CIC site). For reference letter, u can collect before leaving Nigeria. 2. Ur second question goes to the root of ur eligibility to apply under EE program. If ur skill level is C, then u can't use d EE program cos it's NOC skill level 0,A&B dat r eligible. Additionally, u can't use Supervisor if u weren't actually one. Be careful of misrepresentation. I ve stated d penalty here before. Rejection plus 5year Ban. |

Jesus4real: Try to confirm from the agency if it is licensed with the IRCC and authorized to represent applicants for Canadian visa application purposes. You need to be careful with 'agents' who look legitimate but are not registered with IRCC and are therefore illegal and 'one chance' agents. I'm here in Canada and I've never heard of an agency that will look for workers from abroad with the thousands of Permanent Residents already here looking for jobs. I'm sure you have friends in Canada who are still job hunting, it doesn't make sense that a recruiter will overlook all of them to go and find people from abroad at great cost and with a time consuming process. Check this link to learn more about Canadian immigration agents/representatives, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/rep-who.asp For a link to recognized agents who may have Nigerian affiliates, check here, http://iccrc-crcic.info/ 2 Likes |
