I understood what you meant but didn't take the case that far as it regard forming alliance with minority groups. Forming alliance with minority groups is the most difficult, considering the fear of the minority groups. But truth must be said here, that it will be a herculean task fighting against all sides of Nigeria. The Olukunmis have never denied themselves their Yoruba identity and have never shortchanged it with another tribes but hold on to Yoruba identity ,despite 100s of years of long migration toward that direction. And Bini's history is associated with our great ancestor, known as Oranmiyan who married Edo lady that gave birth to a son,known as EWEKA (OWOKA or OWOMIKA) among them within a short stay at Bini . So we really don't have bitterness toward any group as long as the motive is right. Even among Yorubas, we have betrayals, so,it is far away from the problem associated with the breakaway Midwest. It is like a non Yoruba meeting a very cunning Yoruba chap, his mentality will be tilted toward, all Yorubas as being cunning. Just as many people will think all Yoruba have tribal marks as OYO people ,which is the greatest blunder anyone can make because there are some people who don't HAVE tribal marks in YORUBA HISTORY. War isnt a good to thing because a lot of people will die. However, people can continue to clamour for separate identity through Referendum and the copy of such DECLARATION to be with UNITED NATION. ERITREA fought a bitter war against almighty Ethiopia with over 90,000,000+ people compared with 4,000,000+people. And Eritrea still survived and became a nation of her own. Anything is impossible.

Eriterea won the war because of Egypt. Infact the war was as good as Ethiopia vs Egypt. Many other Arab nations supported Eriterea but nobody cared about Ethiopia.

Recently, Nigeria has started investing heavily on Agriculture and industrialization.
Nigeria is not there yet, but it is growing faster (coupled with it's huge potentials as a large and hardworking nation), and in a short time from now, there will be no basis for comparison.

A developing China has more potentials than a dev Brazil
A developing India has more potentials than a dev Indonesia
