*ACADEMIC TIME-TABLE & EXAMS NOW STANDARDISED – VC* NOUN VC, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu says the standardisation of students academic time-table and examinations being championed by the Management, is to enable the students have more time to study their programmes and enable them prepare adequately for the examinations. The Vice Chancellor who stated this at a meeting he held with Deans of Faculties and HODs in Lagos, said members of staff saddled with the responsibility of conducting the examinations, would equally have adequate time to prepare for the huge task ahead of them. Adamu said the need to clarify this procedure became necessary in view of the numerous complaints of unnecessary delay in academic calendar in some quarters. He described as unfair, a situation in the past, whereby students commenced examinations barely two weeks after they concluded their registration process. He said the new procedure would now be such that, as soon as students complete registration for courses, the portal would be closed to new admissions, until ten weeks later, within which they were expected to familiarize themselves with the study materials and also interact among themselves before the commencement of the examinations. Adamu allayed the fears that examinations might not be twice in a year anymore, insisting that henceforth, examinations would now be held in June and November every year.Adding that for the next round of admissions, the portal would be opened immediately after the Senate approve the results of the 2nd semester examinations. 1 Like |

barbzy: NOUN has added one field (state of origin) on the registration page. With that they want all students to renew their portal registration in order to add that in their portal. Visit the school webpage www.nouonline.net, click on registration and enter your details all over again to be recognized. Thank u. |

I am currently running my MBA and this is my third semester. so am expected to pick my area of specialisation. So I picked and registered courses/exams on information technology. I just found out NOUN has no place for MBA Information Technology but earlier before now the courses were available for registeration and I registered them. Please is it possible for me to drop the courses? If yes please how? Someone who is grounded should help me with the appropriate information |

promisechild:i advice you not to participate in this kind of scam, they are group of Hacker, who can manipulate scores without reflecting in original database, u may see 10/10 but it is zero base in data base of National Open University of Nigeria, at the end of exam or when the result is release u will fail all the exam as a result of non availability or zero base tma, so wake up and be wise. 2 Likes |

TEEWAI22: This piece is for the management teams of National Open University of Nigeria, i want to express my profound gratitude to the VC and all other management teams of the university in making effort to make sure all necessary thing are put in place for smooth running of the university. However, i want to express my disappointment in the way and manner the management is handling the issues of upgrading and management of NOUN website especially in school fees payment, loading the school fees paid to student portal, availability of the said money in student portal and all other features like balance in wallet etc. It seems the management is not taken the issues serious, students will paid and the money will not reflect in portal while the remita website will insist that it is school that can only correct the situation, the management team that suppose to supervise the situation fold their arms waiting for miracle to happen while the bursary department of the university has seen it as avenue to manipulate things in the way they like based on Nigeria system, while the programmer that suppose to take action and correct the error in the system take instruction from those that don't want the system or the vc to succeed thereby using the opportunity to do things in the way they like. Now, this is my question, if student pay school and web designer is unable to build a site that can load the money to the student portal automatically and such student can provide evidence of payment at their respective study centre, then while the delay in making sure that such money is loaded to such student portal manually if not automatically, what is the work of the bursary department and other management team in charge of such situation. Many students have paid 2 or 3 weeks ago and the money failed to appear in their portal to worsen the situation the support team of the university is no longer functioning, if u write them or request for any help, they will not reply. Please forward this to VC so that necessary action can be taken. 1 Like |

apeelewuetu:brother you are very wrong with your assertions. TMA Guru does not manipulate the school database. We provide solutions for students to submit themselves or parse we assist them to submit it if they can not. For point of correction TMA Guru has helped nothing less than 50 students on this platform this semester on their tmas and they will surely testify to our work. We kindly advise you to withdrawn your defamatory assertions on us. Any students who has experienced such issues as claimed by the op should kindly speak up here. We believe in transparency and integrity. Regards TMA GURU |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by apeelewuetu: 5:11pm On Apr 27, 2017 |
promisechild: D man said about 50 students has benefited, OK, we need just one to provide his or her matric N0 to confirm d GURU work or if u are afraid of realeasing your matrix NO , just copy your score page DAT show your department without your name in support of what the GURU is saying. My Dear student, my advice for is that don't pay anybody for Tma, the purpose of Tma is to allow u get familiar with d study materials, so that u can pass d exam. Try as much as possible to do the Tma yourself, if u still get assistance from your mate or friend but not like d manipulated one shown above, try to attempt d questions and compare the answers to d correct answer. It is necessary to update our self with current situation in NOUN, TMA portal has changed completely, for a person residing in different location providing tma answer to another person in different location is no longer possible, to clarify this statement, if u open one Tma now and u refresh d page or close and re-open d Tma will change or rearrange, also before assessing NOUN website your IP and other security checks has been put in place in such that The GURU as stated above can easily be identified and at end of d day u end up scoring zero. U can see d reason why many will never see result or failed to graduate. My Dear students, there are many steps u can take to pass without stress, try to find out if there is any tutorial within your study center or get a sheet of paper , write your name and your phone NO, tell those in d same department to call u, paste it on d notice board. arrange within yourself so that u can go through d study materials. 2 Likes |
