Infinix recently announced their latest mid range smartphone which is the Infinix S2. But while a lot of people were expecting the phone to come with the latest android Nougat OS out of the box, Infinix disappointed by releasing the phone with the Android 6.0 marshmallow.

Although I was very optimistic that Infinix will surely push out Nougat update for the phone as it's in their culture, I wasn't expecting it to be this quick. Infinix has already started rolling out the android 7 Nougat update to the S2 Pro.

If you have been discouraged to get the Infinix S2 Pro because of the android marshallow that came with the phone, then you don't have an excuse anymore as you can now update it to the latest android 7 Nougat already.

If you are an Infinix S2 Pro user, then you should have received the update notification. The update is about 1.8GB and it can be downloaded Over The Air (OTA) using the built in software update app. Incase you haven't received the update yet, then you can manually check by going to your phone's settings >> About Phone >> System Update.

Aside coming with the usual Nougat features, this update optimizes the phone and also fixes some minor bugs.
So now that it's very clear that the Infinix S2 is getting the Nougat update, i guess its time for you to probably go out there and get yours .

3000 on a 5.2 screen is pretty standard. Well with Nougat, it's way better than standard. I cannot stress how good nougat manages battery life compared to former Android OS's
