we use it in weddings. Specially when you order the same dress in group, flawless! The black cloack is called 'kaba' in amharic. It have golden linnings at the edges, it makes the wedding bright but it have a different religious purpose.

i can read and write Geez since it's alphabet is the same as Amharic. But i can't talk and listen. Have promised to myself that i will learn the language soon

Geez language is in danger. It's a language that might not exist after years. They teach the language in some language schools and also in Ethiopian Orthodox church.
