Runtown visited HG Female Orphanage which is a home for rescued girls from Child Trafficking across Africa. He's seen pictured with the young girls

The guy in white is called Mathew Mensa. He is Ghanaian/Swiss who grew up in Nigeria and hence a lot of naija connections. He started the orphanage which consists of mainly young South African boys and girls and a few Zimbabweans.

As much as people may not like South Africans at least he has made a difference to someone's life and it's not fair for them to pay for what they have not committed.(xenophobia)

In the same token I hope that he is also giving back to Nigerian orphanages as well afterall he is from there.

Good for him. Nice job indeed. But let us make one thing clear that, he can't be doing it all alone without the help of the govt. (especially if those children are underage) + organizations like the national lottery board, which is usually the main sponsor of such places. There are special grants given to people who take care of chidren, out of the goodness of their hearts.

You sound more foolish with every post. Unlike you sitting in your little face-me-I-face-you, typing hearsay, your celebrities on the other hand are well-travelled & know that not all South Africans are xenophobic or they wouldn't be coming here over & over again.
Firstly, u don't need to insult anyone before passing ur senseless thought.

Does it make sense to you to think a country of over 50 million individuals are all the same? I don't expect my post to make sense to you as senseless as you've proven yourself with your comments on this thread.

LOL! Huh? So who posted the comment that was a reply to your silly comment if it wasn't me? I posted it. All me. To correct your faulty train of thoughts. You're near-sighted & can't seem to see things on a larger scale.

The topic states "Runtown visits orphanage home". He is just visiting and I don't see anything wrong with it.

If he was donating huge sums of money then I would call him a fool.

The truth is the average Saffer is xenophobic. They only tolerate Nigerian Celebs because they know they have money and come to spend big bucks here. They still hate them irregardless.

If rundown donated money today and he because broke in the near future and went to SA he would see the real xenophobic sickness in them. They also forget all the good you can do for them.

Anyways I really hope that he is strapping up there cos Aids is real.

Just so you know he has not received any money from government not like government will be able to give much anyways hence a lot of orphanages and children's home are always asking for outside help.

He is a businessman as well and knows quite a lot of connected people here and outside the country of which he gets some donations as well.

OK, now here's how your perception of South Africans gets a little skewed. You say we tolerate Nigerian celebs only because they have money & are here to spend big bucks. Now my question to you is, when they visit, do they enrich the lives of every South African? The answer is obviously no because those visits & all their money, makes zero difference on the lives of average South Africans. So the tolerance as you call it, can't be only motivated by monetary gain. Perhaps your celebs conduct themselves in a manner that earns them respect. Not many of us know who most of them are after all.

And you know this how? Every South African child under the age of 18 gets financiall assistance from the govt. so it'd be highly unusual to neglect these ones & let them be under the care of foreign aid alone. I don't believe that. Every registered shelter or orphanage in SA, automatically qualifies & does get money from the govt. + Gidani.

Have you spent money in orphanages in your own country BTW. I find a lot of Nigerians to be hypocrites. You castigate someone for not doing something that you yourself have not done. It's crazy. As much as I would hope that he gives back to his own country. It's his money and he can do whatever the fk he wants with it.

Besides having a problem with someone helping disadvantaged kids says a lot about the type of person you are. *disgusting*

I know this because he has spoken to me about it and based on my experiences(NGO) . I never said you can't get support from government but the money is not a lot. Government has a lot of responsibilities and there are many disadvantage people that need help so it's understandable.

LOL @ he has spoken to you. Even if he did, which I doubt very much, you think he was going to tell you about every penny he gets as a reward as part of his humanitarian work? I don't think so! Still doesn't take away what he does though. Say thanks & please tell him to spend our taxes wisely grin

The point about enriching the everyday life's of South Africans has no relevance to the topic. Even your own Celebrities do not enrich the lives of the ordinary South African let alone your president. Whether Beyonce, Aka or runtown they cannot enrich the lives of the average South African.

A Celebrity will generally get better treatment then a non celeb and that's a fact. There are also Nigerians in SA who are good but yet still get treated like $hit simply because of their nationality. If they were know celebrities then they won't be treated like $hit as obviously as the others do not tolerated.

Also there are certain celebs that are know like Wizkid and some few other actresses/actors that are recognisable there so will obviously not be treated better than the average Nigerian.

I am not expecting you to know all the Celebs here in Nigeria as Nigerians also don't know much of the Celebs in SA. That's normal but for someone like Mandela we will definitely recognise.

So why mention their money then? Is every Nigerian in South Africa treated like shit? By whom? All South Africans? Some of them are here & I hope they come out to talk about how every South African treats them like shit. Mr, South Africans are not all the same because we weren't cloned inside a lab. For every South African that treats someone terribly on the grounds of nationality, there is a South African that'll see the fact that you're from another country as an opportunity to learn something new. So stop spreading half-truths.
