I still believe Savitar is future Barry Allen. Not the one younger Barry met in 2024, but one far from the future...like the one that sent that message to RIP Hunter.

Savitar is Wally West (an older version of Wally). Most believe its Ronnie, but its Wally. There are several clues that support this conclusion. When Savitar escaped from the speed force and he and Barry fought, Savitar stated that Barry was the one that Joe raised. It was a statement in response to Barry's question "why are you doing this". Wally also has full knowledge of team Flash and it also explains why he is catatonic, because he realized that he is Savitar. Yes, Wally's back is broken, but this is why he needs the full suit of armor; it helps him stand and run; most likely powered by a tachyons. The name Savitar is "God of Speed", Wally's love has always been speed. He wanted to be an astronaut because of how fast he can go. Wally also knows about the Philosopher's Stone, where it was originally discovered (from Julian) and how it can be used to grant speed. Savitar stated he created himself. Savitar told Barry that he created Kid Flash because Barry created Flashpoint and gave him the idea. Savitar also stated that Iris had to die so he could live. Iris's death pushed Wally over the edge and he rushed off to fight Savitar on his own and Savitar broke his back and Wally became catatonic. The catatonic state caused Wally to suffer a psychological breakdown (realizing that he is the one who killed his sister and will become Savitar). Again, broken back is why he needs the armor. The broken back is to throw you off; the speed force should have healed him. It hasn't because Savitar took the speed force from him (contributing to the psychological breakdown) forcing Wally to create the suit (when Wally was with Jessie she realized that being able to move fast made Wally complete, with the speed force gone and his back broken--because Barry was not there to help him--Wally becomes obsessed with obtaining speed at all costs). Savitar has to target Barry and team Flash because if the events do not occur he will never exist, and at the time he kills Iris Savitar had already gone quite insane from being trapped in the Speed Force. So a time loop paradox is created.

I disagree, remember in 2024, future Barry had already locked Savitar in the speed force while wally was at home paralyzed and catatonic. The beef that Savitar have with flash is that he locked him in the speed force for so long.
