Sporting federations are strong.
Participation is high.
Best Practices are used.
Proliferation​ of clubs, big and small.
The full range of sporting disciplines practised by her citizens.
Functioning and frequently used sports facilities.
Regular haul of medals.
A REAL ministry of sports.
Sports related commercial activity and actual contribution to the economy is calculates each year.

Our Athletes and other successful sportspersons are largely the product of their own sweat and not a well oiled system. We got alot of catching up to do.

Even with that, I find that we beat S.A in almost all sports bar rugby and maybe football, though their national team is nothing to talk about anymore. I think if we better managed sports, we would utterly dominate sports. We need resources however, wealth creation, for better infrastructure. Our ministry of sports is definitely the worst in the world.

dude how many times will i tell u that, nigeria has refineries but people sabotage them so that they can keep importing finished crude oil products ,to make money. cos they kniw that if nigeria refines its own oil there will be no need for importation of finished goods and they will not make money. so they sabotage d refineries .
the same tin with electricity, its not that nigeria cannot have constant power, its becos of wicked and selfish people, if nigeria gets constant power we will not use generators and fuel anymore ,so they do everything in their power to make sure Nigeria doesn't get constant electricity so that they can keep importing generators and fuel in order to make money
