Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Shown First Straight Red Card Of His Pro Career Kenneth Omeruo was sent off in Alanyasspor's 3-0 loss to Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday. The Chelsea loanee took the walk of shame in the 45th minute for a foul on Brazilian striker Welliton, who would have been in a clear goalscoring position if he had not been brought down by the Nigerian defender. The talk leading up to today's game at the Kadir Has Sehir Stadium was for Omeruo to avoid a caution as he was on the brink of another suspension by the Turkish Federation, having accumulated three more yellow cards. Previously, Omeruo had been dismissed two times in his professional career while defending the colours of ADO Den Haag and Middlesbrough but he received two yellow cards in both matches before he was sent off. The Super Eagle made his 23rd appearance of the season against Kayserispor. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=22886 |

Icon4s: At a high intensity at a young age. I did not say Guardiola is the Holy grail for Nacho. I admire Guardiola's ways and Nacho's age now, he needs it. It is you guys that go around sounding Lord Guardiola to throw digs. Not me. I give my reasons why. If Nacho leaves City, I still want him training under a high intensity. That is why when he comes to camp, his fitness and stamina gets good reviews. While you think playing time will do the magic. I see people talking Pellegrini. They do not know Pellegrini's sides fall deep when they lose the ball. That was why a player like Riquelme had it easy under Pellegrini but found it difficult under Van Gaal. A player groomed under a high intensity system will adapt to both styles but a player who trains under just a light system will not survive a high intensity coach. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: you keep on mentioning that miss, but it wasn't even a great chance! You also forgot that Kayode had a hand in that penalty that your 'drill-boy' put away. Now this is not a swipe at Nacho but terzurum5 gets the whole idea, Kayode should be starting our next game for me, he is a workaholic(probably presses more than Nacho), and his link-up play isn't bad, that doesn't mean he is better than Nacho but regular playing time is going to give him the advantage 2 Likes |

Chief Icon4s..... na wa oooo.... You bad ooo.... Sir Terzurum5 might be right after all.... #ComedyGift.... But Let us be open-minded small on the time table... according to that timetable... Sir GoodJoe said A season or two.... especially a season.... so Nacho's training/drilling time is done with pep... a season has been spent including preseason.... so Nacho's time lies elsewhere. tbaba1234: It is not about salary. This player is young and at the top of his game. It is obvious that he is outgrowing the NPFL so it is wise for him to move on. I just hope this is the very best deal on the table and he is not jumping too soon. He already turned down a club from Russia. |

TheSuperNerd: Odey, remaining for me to beg you. Go and work with Rodgers in camp. Even if you do not make it, you will leave a better player in that short time. A lot of tactical drills that will expand your knowledge of the game. Go for the so called medial evaluation. |

There is no way Kayode gets the nod ahead of Iheanacho.... Unless Nacho is injured. For now, It is that simple. I wonder why people just can't separate the lines...... Iheanacho is a beast when it comes to pressing high up front and contributing to our linkup plays... Kayode has nothing on Iheanacho in these aspects and more... This is the Super Eagles arena now..... can't they see that? TheGoodJoe: |

TheSuperNerd: Ever since Kayode was small, his workrate has always been his strongest point. He runs for 90 mins straight, I remember watching his Europa League games and some of his recent league games. He is faster than Nacho by the way. But let me ask, when was the last time you watched Kayode's games? 10 months ago? Tbaba will give you a better definition of the type of player he is, name does not play football, form does 4 Likes |
