Expert analysis needed. I met this girl some months ago, we really go along and had a good rapport from the onset. we walk together, hold hands, share naughty jokes and all, but I wasn't really interested in her romantically. We always felt comfortable sharing each other's secrets. fast forward to last week, we went outing , when at the table, she was beside me we were talking then I remembered the faculty dinner holding soon, she said she was going to be my date. Then I said no Na.... that I can't take her along because of d overnight after-party that she is my friend and I can't just be looking at her face when d after party commences in the hotel. she then asked if I see her as "just a friend" to which I promptly replied "Yes" she left afterwards and has refused to speak to me ever since..... my question is did I do any wrong?? |

You did wrong of course. Even if you had no plans of making her your prom date for the dinner, the reply you gave her is disheartening |
