It hurts the eye and burns the retina the scorching ignorance being permeated in the name of Biafra. The irreconcilable disparity between intelligence and academics has never been more pronounced as when educated youths trade reason for sentiments on discourse of Biafra. How many Igbo youths know the history of Biafra? How many lives were lost simply due to coups and counter-coups that birthed the notion of a confederation and eventually the idea of an independent Biafra in 1967? The purpose of this writ is not to teach history, No. The intention is to unveil the futility in clamoring for the unattainable at the expense of valuable lives lost. When will the Igbos come to terms with reality? There will never be Biafra. This is the cold truth. The reason is simple, as long as the oil producing states are included in this Biafran dream, to secede will never succeed. Just as a businessman would rather die than relinquish his billion naira generating business venture, like wise FG will rather obliterate every effort to lose its oil producing states. It cannot be denied that Igbos have been marginalized over the years, an inevitable recompense for their disloyalty to the country as no one really trusts the igbos again regarding their intention still to secede. Just like a spouse that cheats, will never really regain the trust of their partner, for lack of a better analogy. The solution is to dead the idea of Biafra. To place Nigeria's interest over tribe/region. To prove their loyalty to the country. Nnamdi Kanu was recently released, as a sign of truce by the FG. It makes no sense to still be agitating for Biafra. |

pressplay411: Why are we yorubas bent on uniting with Biafrans? Shouldn't we concentrate on uniting with our blood brothers in Benin republic? This is why people say we are beggers. Begged for lives in kwara, Beg for alms, beg for food in IdP camps, now begging for unity that you'll never have. Shame! shame! shame! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

NoBasisForUnity: What has MASSOB or IPOB or any other group achieved? The only thing they achieved is to remind the nation why an Igbo presidency can't be risked. Another activist will rise up again, play on the sentiments of the Igbo youths, raise your hopes with inciting hate speeches, make all the noise and at the end settle for a few bags from FG while pawns would have been sacrificed for nothing. It's just sad to watch really. 1 Like |

pressplay411: Within 2 years IPOB ensured that world media in Isreal, Japan, Russia, UK, USA talked about Biafra for the first time in 50 years. Who knows about your Arewa and oduduwa outside kano and oshogbo? No one. You prayed to your Allah for 2 years that Kanu collects FG bribe and compromise. Did your Allah answer your daft prayers? No. Now who really needs to be pitied? 6 Likes |

pressplay411:Sorry Biafra is not about oil, First of all the name Biafra was given to Biafra by a Ijaw man, and they were part and parcel of it, but if they say that they will not go with their brothers, that is their problem, but no inch of Igbo land will be left in Nigeria. BTW their is oil in Anambara, Imo and Enugu states. 2 Likes |

pressplay411: Yoruba: Under what conditions would you support “One Nigeria” and let go of the Biafra agitation and let it die down, finally laid to rest for good? Biafra agitator: Close down Lagos ports and open up Port Harcourt, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri ports. • Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports, allowing only local connecting flights. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and Port Harcourt to direct international and major connecting flights. • Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos, Kano and Abuja to Enugu, Port Harcourt and Calabar. • All Federal Government agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, Port Harcourt and Calabar. Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), etc., shall and must relocate to Port Harcourt, Calabar and Enugu. • All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to Port Harcourt, Calabar and Enugu. • All oil companies must relocate their head offices to Port Harcourt, as the oil capital of Nigeria. • Let the northern children gain admission into federal schools with 300 score points while the South-East children should gain admission with only 20 score points. • Let all federal road projects in the North/South-West be handled by one local company and the one in the South-East/South-South be handled by Julius Berger and foreign construction companies. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented for 50 years, we can try one Nigeria and let’s see if you the North and South-West will like it for a month… • Also, Yoruba and Hausa needing to get international visas shall travel to Port Harcourt, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights; with shipping and importing their goods, etc. Yoruba: You can’t be serious, this is wickedness… Biafra agitator: Really? Don’t you think the south-eastern part of Nigeria has been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 years? Yoruba (quiet for a few seconds): Wow, you are right but it never occurred to me… 2 Likes |

Cooly100: The afore listed are so because of geographical advantage. Lagos and Abuja enjoy these benefits of ports and federal agencies as capital states. So Instead of making these preposterous demands from an FG you're fighting why has none of your state government done any thing about it? Tinubu resorted to IGRs when Lagos was ostracized by FG. You expect a govt you're fighting to make you independent? Hilarious. 1 Like |

pressplay411:What does geographical advantage have to do with stifling development of Portharcout sea port? That of Oron? what about Warri? The states are ever ready to develop these infrastructures but the feds say no that they are the ones that will develop them but they still sit on their arms when it comes to actions. What does International air port have to do with geography? |
