Well done, how do they grow their groundnut, tomatoes and other crops? Has there been drought in that region since you were born. As they depend on rainfall has it stopped their crops from growing
nope. You have spoken well but just quoting you on the aspects getting water from the ground as an option if no govt aid. To add, to live in Nigeria comfortably requires money. if you are poor and you are living in Nigeria, then you will see hell but this is not the same in other African countries. Even a country like Burkina Faso which the UN describes as a poor country, one can live life comfortably with some basic amenities govt has put in place.

I think this pidgin2 of a girl is linked to all those unscrupulous politicians that is why she keeps taking sides with them and see nothing wrong with the way they are piloting the affairs of Nigeria.

Take a few minutes to read through your own thread and see how many people you've gotten interested in visiting Kenya, some are even interested in attending their schools, then ask yourself who you are, are you not an ordinary citizen or are you someone with political powers, how come you got so may people interested in visiting Kenya thereby contributing to their overall economy in particular the aviation and tourism sectors?

When it comes to Nigeria, you wait for government but when it involves foreign countries you act in place of their government. Your priority is misplaced.
if anyone is interested in schooling there, it's because their system is not rigorous like ours. Do you know the number of Nigerians schooling in private colleges in Ghana ? Did they see this thread ?
What about South Africa? Stop the mediocre attitude.

Really? Which of them. It's you who will suffer from lack of job, I'm only saying these things as someone who understands the power of words and how putting in a good word about your country even on social media can do a lot to grow some sectors but people like you will never understand as your mind is completely closed to opportunities yet you want to debate with someone who understands PR

I understand your concern but don't get worked up about it. If something is nice appreciate it. What has Nigerian government done to boost tourism? Their main focus has been Oil sector. Op went to Kenya and he is sharing his experience, it's not his fault that the place has been developed, Kenyan government took advantage of their resource which is wildlife and it has boosted their economy via tourism. Oil sector in Nigeria is still struggling to stabilize Local Content. People spend their money where they seem fit.

Nice thread you got there, but you killed it yourself.
You should be open minded when creating this kind of thread, avoid comparison, and answering questions that compares.

We are diff counties, beautiful in our own diff ways!

That's the point I was raising.
I was enjoying the thread until he and some other non nigerians started this negative comparison.
What if a thread is created describing the beauty of Nigeria in comparison with the ills of kenya

at least our rigorous educational system has produced graduates who have competed at world levels.
At least Nigeria is home of Wole Soyinka of OAU as the first African to win Noble prize in literature.

people like her are the reason why I don't take Hotel rating or any places of interest by Africans! Could you imagine one dirty resort with the worst services and exploitative charges got 4 stars on google. Went there yesterday, I couldn't spend 4 hours despite booking a night with them. Told my partner I can't stay in a supposed resort without wifi and horrible food. I don't want to mention the name of the place but you spend 18k just to get a boat to and from.
I don't know if these people haven't really tasted good hospitality or they are blind.
I read other people's rating because they say the fact and don't mix feelings.

Kibera is one of the biggest slum in Africa and it's located in Africa but Nairobi is finer than Lagos and Abuja combined.

Pidgin2:

Where in Lagos? Don't you see how beautiful the island and surrounding areas are, I had a lovely time showing someone from UK around today and he was sincerely impressed, I'm sure you've never visited the slave relics at Badagry before, Lagos looks better than this place, the OP is not showing you their Shanti towns so don't even mention Ajegunle here
