This is marginalization. Every time Imo and Abia states are excluded from any form of grant or scholarship of NDDC. Why then call them Niger Delta states? We also say Northerners are our problem but we are the problem ourselves. God dey shaa.
I was just about saying the same thing. Does it mean edo state has more petroleum than imo and/or abia?

Mine is much older, I did my Guarantors letter 2014 when I applied for NDDC scholarship. I didn't make it pass the test stage that year. The following year I did well in the test, had 40/50 and my performance in the interview was fair at least by my own personal sincere rating, surprisingly I didn't get the scholarship.

I intend applying for the scholarship this year with that same guarantor's letter, though I'll get another one when it's time for interview. What do you think?

Wanna ask something, heard it b4, dunno how true it is.

Is it possible for one to use a different offer letter during the interview from the one uploaded during the nddc application process??

For example, u apply to different schools A & B u have an offer from a school A, u used it during registration, then u scale through to the interview process, and presented another offer letter from school B. (apparently, school B took time to grant u an offer, & it's where u really wanna go)

Hypothetically.

Yes. This is very possible. However, please look for schools that'll be patient with NDDC delay in payment of tuition

Bro forget about what they wrote on their website. NDDC does not release award list on time. Last year's award list came out September last year, that's already past the start date for most programs. You will only not have to defer if your program has a January start date and not all programs have January start date. What you should focus on now is getting the scholarship.

NDDC can't enforce those rubbish written there.

Let's face it. The scholarship is not fully funded, and they do not pay on-time, so how can they say no deferment, what if the scholar does not have enough money to travel immediately.

Also, the award list comes out late. Last year's list came out mid September.Automatically scholars who are supposed to start September can't travel unless they are able to secure admission into a school that has January entry and very few programs have January entry.

My point is they will return to the norm unless they are able to release the award list before September, say early August latest and they are also willing to start paying scholars before departure.

Yes, 2015 scholars tuition was paid March 2016, which is about 9months later, its over 10 months now no payment of tuition for 2016 scholars yet. You just have to know NDDC has changed since APC came to power

Hello guys,

Would like to ask a rather "dumb" question...

So, I understand NDDC is for Niger-Deltans and Imo/Ondo. However, a friend reliably told me some candidates from Anambra successfully got it recently (didn't ask the year).

Anybody with info as to whether an indigene of Anambra can actually apply for this. Would like to know, so as to save some applicants from wasting their time if it ain't true.

Thanks in advance.

NDDC is very corrupt, so anything is possible. But if at all Anambra indigenes got the scholarship, they must have gone through backdoor and not the usual application process.

Only UK schools are that desperate to give you admission within one week. I applied to a top UK uni last week Wednesday (Wednesday night precisely) got my admission letter today. I just want to pursue the scholarship with it, my destination is Germany, Summer 2018 by God's grace, but the application window is not yet opened. I suggest you do same.
