When you hear of the Niger delta you will weep for Nigeria but the media will never tell you Niger delta have some of the most beautiful cities in Nigeria. Like Calabar, Uyo, Portharcourt, etc. The only thing you see is the villages affected by oil spill and the poor areas of the Niger delta. Same when you hear of North Eastern Borno state, the boko haram main home. You will only see the old villages but maiduguri is actually the biggest commercial city in the whole of that north east and even the neighboring countries heavily rely on that city for major activities. It shares border with 3 other countries and has never been under the control of boko haram.

I doubt you know what you are saying. Although not producing at full capacity but Nigeria currently have capacity to refine about 450000bpd which can provide us with 20 million liters of petrol per day while our demand is 40 million liter per day. So it grossly inadequate and we have to import to meet local demand. But why disturb yourself about Nigeria when another 650,000bpd is under construction and can refine 55 million liters of petrol per day, 7.8 million liters of jet fuel per day, etc.
