Thank you justwise. Did you mean I should write my own surname for her or her maiden name on her passport?

Exactly the way it written in your marriage certificate.

CAC,MOA,Tax Clearance, Financial Account, my personal account statement, marriage certificate, husband's passport page, cover letter from me and the person that invited me, contracts executed by the company, proof of money being owed to the company.

This time around, I want to submit these;
Leave letter
Payslip
Salary Account statement for 8months or more
Personal Account statement for 8months or more
Personal Income Tax card
Invitation Letter
Passport page of the person inviting me
Utility bill
Marriage certificate

Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

The person inviting you did not add his/her tenancy agreement or mortgage paper as proof of accommodation for you?

Paste the refusal letter here let see the ECO's reasons for the refusal

There's mortgage paper for proof of accomodation,
I'll look for the letter of refusal, I don't know where I put it, since it happened last July.
Please I have one more question, would I be needing the refusal letter when applying this time around?

Your list is ok but you need to add list of places you will be visiting in the UK and the budget for the trip.

The budget shouldn't be an estimate, it should be the actual cost of the trip.

So does it really mean all supporting documents for standard visitor visa; both for the applicant and sponsor would have to be submitted at the TLS at the appointment in Nigeria? When I applied for my wife's settlement visa, the documents were sent to London.

Also, is there a requirement for TB test for a standard visitor visa applicant?

Good morning house. Is it possible for someone who lives in a council house and not working but living in 4-bedroom to write a letter she will be responsible one's accommodation and feeding. All other expenses will be covered by myself. Her husband is working but it's my sister's name that is written on tenancy agreement. Please your advice is needed. Thank you

Please house what's your view on taking a loan for UK visitors visa purpose? Is this a red flag even if the amount meets the minimum requirement and has stayed for 28 days? Please also bear in mind that there's a steady income from a salary account which adds up to close to a million with the loaned amount in a month. This is asked for a friend.

Yes all document must be sent to the applicant to submit at TLS. TB test is not required for standard visitor visa, except visitors planing to stay more than 6 months.

This is someone already been supported with public funds (council house, weekly allowance). The ECO will consider that you will be an extra burden and benefiting indirectly from public fund (accommodation and feeding). This is automatic refusal. Best is for you to look of hotel accommodation and foot the bills for the entire trip without bringing her into the picture. In order words, you can just mention her as someone you know in the U.K., but you will not stay or visit her.

Why do you want to take a loan for a vacation?

Ok. But can I just say she will only accomodate me and I will be responsible for feeding and all other expenses for the trip?

How true is it that thus email means denial in advance?

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.
Kind Regards,
Sheffield Visa Section

It simply means that you're unlikely to get the decision email within 15 working days. All you need to do is wait and start thinking of changing your travel plans.

I submitted since 3rd April and I was sent this

Please continue posting your enquiries here, the previous thread has reached and passed 400 pages.

Part2 is here for reference purposes https://www.nairaland.com/823855/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part

Just saw this thread today and I must say you are doing a great job....now my issue is this .

I'm planning to go to U.K for a medical evaluation and that will cost 5k pounds which I intend to make part payment of 3 or 4k pounds but here is the point.

There is a sponsor for the trip but I want to know if it is also necessary for me to present a statement of account despite the fact that I have a sponsor who will be presenting his own statement even after part payment will be made.

Secondly if someone will be following me to assist me do I have to make a separate visa spplication for that person or should I just fill the name of the person in my own application and submit the passport with my package?

Please advice me on what to do and how to go about the medical visa as I already have reference letter from lasuth stating why I need to go outside the country for evaluation.

Please your swift response is needed.

Got my passport today and my visa was approved(6 months multiple entry). Note that this is my first UK visa application, I have never travelled outside Nigeria and I only had 350k balance in my account. This is to encourage other people that your documentations are the most important things when applying for UK visa.

Oga, your case is a miracle, not everyone will experience this. DO NOT encourage people to waste application fees by using your kind of faith. by the way can you tell us more about your application circumstances, maybe you are sponsored? congrats.

I did not use a sponsor. I am a medical doctor with a fair salary and I applied to write an exam in the U.K. I have a federal job and I'm currently undergoing postgraduate training. I only provided proof of all these with a comprehensive cover letter.

Dude she can't accommodate you as the law does not permit her as along as she is still dependent on public fund. Like I said before you need to keep her out of your visa application or you won't stand a chance.

Yes you must include you bank statement, proof of employment and payslip even if you have a sponsor. Any accompanying person must fill a separate online application.

What if I don't have a job? the medical visit is 100% sponsored by a group of people and I have been out of job for a while due to the health issue so how do I go about the application? And I don't want to lie

If you do not have a job currently. State same in the application and provide reasons that due to your health issues you have been out of job since xxxx.

So if I can explain this then there will be no need to present any statement right?

Would my lack of statement or job prevent me from getting the visa even when I have a sponsor who presented a statement of account?
