NnamdiiKanu: You should go and educate yourself about diplomatic immunity and territorial integrity of an embassy. Thank me later. 2 Likes |

thunderbabs: Extract from Diplomatic handbook: Diplomats themselves still retain full diplomatic immunity, and (as an adherent to the Vienna Convention) the host country may not enter the premises of the mission without permission of the represented country, even to put out a fire.[11] International rules designate an attack on an embassy as an attack on the country it represents.[citation needed] The term "extraterritoriality" is often applied to diplomatic missions, but normally only in this broader sense. |

NnamdiiKanu: I wonder where this one got his information from?? Nigerian folks just make up some BS and assume it's a fact. How would a US Labor department investigate a foreign country embassy ?? Have you ever heard of a thing called "Diplomatic Immunity"? The clause in this law forbade the host country from meddling in the affairs of a foreign embassy. The same thing applies to the American embassy in Nigeria, Nigeria law and practices ceases at the gate of every foreign embassies in Nigeria. If Nigeria like, they can refuse to pay the salary of their employees for 1 thousand years, American Labor laws and enforcement has no investigatory powers to do anything. A Nigerian Embassy in America is entirely sovereign and Immune. |

NnamdiiKanu: NnamdiiKanu, Please Shut up! You are in Owerri commenting about a country you know nothing about. Too much CNN international and 1990s Hollywood movies is bothering you. Go to small claim court in every American cities, their dockets are full with employees and employers with salary disputes. Most salary disputes don't even end up at courts, they are usually resolves at the local DLS (Department of Labor and Statistics). 1 Like |
